It's a shame that my favorite Pal has the worst partner skill in the game. Pocketpair, please give Flopie a new skill. He doesn't deserve the hate he gets 😭
I think I did a pretty good job with my dog.
My beloved shih tzu, Vinnie, passed away at 12 years of age yesterday right as I was about to go to sleep. I remember crying for the first time in a long time, thinking about how dumb I was for not taking to the vet as soon as I saw something wrong.
But then I remembered... me and my mom have been feeding and giving this little boy food, water, and shelter for all of his life. Coupled with the fact that, aside from the honestly, super rare cold he got like, less than 10 times in his whole life, and I realize that this guy has had a better life than like, 99% of all beings throughout all of history. He knew no hunger, thirst, and sickness (which is why I didn't take him to the vet immediately, I've never seen him sick, sorry Vinnie). He might've known some sadness, as I wasn't the best friend in my earlier days, but he loved my mom, and I knew he loved me. Or at least the chicken and fries I'd give him when I had the chance.
It wasn't perfect, I regret not taking him out, as my mom is blind and can't do it, and I never really had the chance to. But I also knew he kinda liked cats, as there were times where I had a stray in the house and they would kinda eat together. I feel good that my mom took great care of him. Man, he loved her so much. And I feel good that me and my mom got to pet him one last time before he passed peacefully.
Miss you, Vinnie. u kinda fat tho

Customs fees?
I'm really considering buying the Onexplayer 3, but I've heard of some severe customs fees (about $300) stated from some users here, and while I can stomach $1400, $1700 is just too much for me. I currently live in the US (not sure if state matters), so I want to know if I'll have to pay a customs fee if I buy this handheld.
Onexplayer 3 or eGPU for my Legion Go S?
Hello, I'm an owner of a Z1E Legion Go S. I want to make an upgrade soon to have a handheld that'll last me for the next few years, and I've been eyeing the Onexplayer 3 (24+512) because of the g3 extreme that seems to be about 2x as fast as the Z1E even under SteamOS, as well as the extremely long battery life claimed for indie titles. However, it's $1400, which is a lot to ask upfront, and I am wondering if it'll be better to invest in an egpu setup for my Go S (Aoostar AG02/03 + 6700/7600xt) so I can have similar docked mode performance. I just want to know if the performance and battery life difference is worth it for me.
The main games I play are
Palworld
007 First Light
Rise/Shadow of the Tomb Raider
Star Wars Jedi Survivor
God of War/Ragnarok
Spider-Man games (Remastered to 2)
Terraria

Just want something for the long haul.
Did you know that Palworld is the highest rated monster tamer on Steam?
Palworld 1.0 made the game so well optimized. Here's some screenshots of the game running at 1080p medium on my smartphone (SD 8 Gen 3) with Winnative.
No, Nintendo is not as bad as Sony and Microsoft.
I've seen a lot of posts recently that are saying that even after Sony's decision to kill physical media, Nintendo is somehow as bad as them. As someone who is literally a self described Palworld fanboy, I hate to say it, but this is just objectively not true with so many factors as to why.
(THIS IS NOT JUSTIFICATION FOR WHAT NINTENDO DOES BTW)
Switch 2 is $450? Xbox Series S is $500, PS5 is $600.
Nintendo charges $20 for online? Sony charges $88, with another price hike on the way.
Nintendo has Game Key Cards? So has Xbox and PlayStation for over a decade, and they at least tell you.
Nintendo bricks consoles? Since when??? And the terms in the EULA are literally the same as Sony.
So much of what Nintendo does, Sony either does and usually in a far worse degree, but it never gets covered because Nintendo hate is way more popular.
In my opinion, the worst thing Nintendo has done is the Palworld lawsuit, which if they won, could've genuinely fucked over the whole monster catching genre by allowing Nintendo to basically own it via patents. But even then - they've basically lost it, Palworld will be perfectly fine, and Nintendo's chances of winning anything are basically 0. And even as someone who is again, a self described Palworld fanboy, I would still consider the death of physical media by Sony worse, as it will have massively bigger ramifications and will hurt every genre across all of gaming... and also will hurt Palworld.
Besides, Nintendo doesn't do layoffs, is at the very least, neutral on AI compared to Sony and Microsoft funding it directly, and is overall, a far better company than those 2. That doesn't make Nintendo good - but seriously, stop saying they're as bad as Sony or Microsoft.
