Quality sucks now, bring back the reformation from before.

I actually came here to see if other people were having quality issues. I have so many Reformation pieces for work, but have been working from home for the last 3 years so I haven’t bought anything new recently. I went back to the office a couple of weeks ago and decided to treat myself to a new pair of black pants. I got the Vida low rise pants. When I put them on this morning they were a little baggy, but I sit at the office all day so I figured, sounds comfortable. I hit to my office an hour later and when I sat down they completely ripped the entire butt and I’m sitting in my office mortified and wondering how I can sneak out with a 12 inch tear and my butt cheeks completely hanging out if my pants. I wore them for an hour, they are not tight, but loose. I’m so disappointed in Reformation that I’m not sure if I’ll ever trust their stuff again. I submitted an online form letting them know, so I hope they will do something since I have a $200 pair of pants that are completely ruined because the quality is so bad.

Should I keep these

Ordered these Olina cropped pants in chartreuse. I’m obsessed with the color (pic probably doesn’t do it justice) but does the fit justify the price? Thoughts?

PSA the sale items are SO bad

I went to my nearest Ref store today to try on pieces since the sale just dropped to 50%. I've been really disappointed by the quality of the last few items I bought from past Ref sales, so I wanted to try on before buying since the sales are final....I am so glad I did because the clothes are SO bad!

I tried on nearly 20 items and it's shocking how poor the quality of the clothes are. Most of the linen pieces I tried were paper-thin and see-through. There's no construction and the fit is quite literally a potato sack.

I was worried about pieces selling out, but with their lack of quality control it's not worth the gamble.

-----

Linen pieces: Frankie Linen Dress, Fernando Linen Pants, Gisele Low-Rise Linen Pants, Annika Linen Top, Lilah Linen Pants, Nora Linen Short (the Indie Linen Top and Birdie Linen dress, both in white, were the only linen piece that weren't paper thin but still had awkward fits)

Other items: Collie Cotton shorts and Oversized Cotton Crew, Alex Mid-rise Pants

Thoughts on this

Anyone has the Joni Knit dress and can comment on the fabric, fit, quality? TIA! When I see the pictures on shopbop, the lines do not line up properly between the chest and rest of body fabric and that irk me!

Thoughts on the Carolina silk skirt?

Do anyone own this skirt, in any colour / print, but particularly in Poet who can give me some info on quality and fit?! Thank you!

Final Sale

Like many others here, I have invested in Reformation so much to build a quality closet, with many of us stumbling upon Reformation to align with values of sustainability and then subsequently relying on them for long-lasting tops, sweaters, and well-constructed pieces. The foundation of my wardrobe is reformation from the last 3-4 years. But not only is their quality getting considerably more questionable, but I feel like their customer service is too. Honestly, I don't remember their sales always being Final Sale with no chance at exchange... is that new? I don't remember them being such sticklers with their customer service; I thought they used to be lenient and respectful to their customer base, offering solutions and accommodations? Honestly, I prefer brands that work with you rather than large corporations that make you feel unappreciated for the money and loyalty you give them. Unfortunately, Reformation has become that for me. Such a turn off.

50% sale tonight?

Hi! Does anyone know if we should expect to see a drop to 50% tonight (e.g. someone at Ref told you, historical data, etc.)? I thought we would, but at 7:00PM PT no change! Crossing my fingers since a few things in my cart are low stock. Thanks all!

Ella silk set

Does anyone have the Ella silk set? Specifically in the below pattern? I can’t tell if it would be so cool or look like fancy pajamas. Also curious about sizing! I am typically a 4 in pants and a XS or s small in tops. Thinking the XS bottoms would be too small on me and I need a small.

Question about Black Friday sale

This is my first experience with the summer Ref sale and it's got me wondering about the Black Friday sale later this year - is the Black Friday sale also tiered, as in each week there's a new "drop" and it goes from 30% off to 50 to 75 like the summer? Thanks in advance!

Hi, need help deciding if I should get this. Fell in love with it! Can anyone who owns this share reasons why/why not I should get it?

I’m done

Probably 80% of my wardrobe is from reformation, and I would guess I have spent over $8k here in 2026 alone. But I ordered the cashmere Lian sweater in a new colorway (compost Parmesan multi stripe) and I am beyond disappointed by the quality. It feels like polyester mixed with wool? I would never guess that it had any cashmere in it at all. I know it’s 5% wool, but I even have other slightly older ref sweaters that are 95% cashmere, 5% wool that still primarily feel like cashmere. This one does not. They have to be using the lowest grade cashmere that possibly could exist on the market. And the wool shouldn’t even really cause itchiness, high quality wool is not itchy, only cheap wool is. I know they use recycled cashmere now, which has shorter fibers (lower quality, if you don’t know anything about cashmere/wool) to begin with, but they have to be using the reject pile of recycled cashmere or something because it’s SO BAD. I went in store to return it and the employee asked why I was returning, and when I stated it was because of the quality she said that she agreed and all of their new cashmere sweaters have had the same issue lately. Surely this is related to reformation going public? I know there is posts in the sub all the time about quality, but I never really related until now.

I bought a cashmere sweater from Aritzia after I returned the reformation one and it’s twice as thick and the cashmere is incredibly soft. I’d recommend everyone go to Aritzia or quince for cashmere now to get actual soft cashmere at a price even cheaper than ref.
