I just started purchasing Oner within the last 6 months, and honestly, I really like it. For me personally, the sizing, fit, and quality have all been what I expected if not better for a workout brand.
I wear mostly lulu, which IMO is better quality, as it should be for the price. I also own a fair amount of defyne, nvgtn, paragon, and vitality, which I would consider more comparable to Oner. So far, I actually find Oner to be better in terms of fit, quality, and price. That’s why going through some of these posts I’m genuinely curious where all the negativity toward the brand comes from. Like I said, I’m relatively new to Oner, so maybe there’s some history or something that happened earlier on that I’m not aware of.
She was quintessential 90s supermodel beautiful.
Doing a rewatch and this was the backdrop for the season 4 reunion. Genuine question, and I mean this respectfully- did Brittany ever talk about having any face cosmetic work done? She looks so different to me now, and it seems like more than just normal aging or weight gain. Not saying she looks horrible now, just that her face looks noticeably different IMO, so I was wondering if she’s ever mentioned what she may have had done other than the body stuff.
In the book, she states Sandoval gave Shay ecstasy on their wedding night. Watching the “Secrets Revealed” episode again where they show Shay singing to Scheana, it made me pause and wonder whether Scheana was lying about Shay not knowing / whether Shay was actually the only one rolling that night. If you watch Scheana in that scene, her eyes, demeanor, and overall energy feels very reminiscent of someone on ecstasy. Her pupils are HUGE, she’s kind of swaying back and forth with a big dumb smile and her eyes are totally vacant. Also, knowing that group’s dynamic I have a hard time imagining him giving ecstasy to just one person and not making it a whole group thing. They were all so codependent back then that it honestly feels more plausible that multiple people were participating.
Doing a rewatch of Season 2 where they go to Stassi’s mom’s Lake Arrowhead house. Tom’s band performs the last night they’re there. I stumbled upon the Facebook event page for it from almost 13 flippin’ years ago.
I feel like I’m going to sound dramatic, but I really just need to vent and see if anyone else relates. I have a long history of endometriosis, multiple surgeries (5 in the last 7 years), and recurring ovarian cysts. I’ve had stretches of feeling normal again (3–6 months at a time), but right now I’m on day 17 of pretty severe cyst pain and I’m barely functional. I only have one ovary left and I’ve been trying to hold onto it to avoid surgical menopause and HRT (I’m really sensitive to medications), but at this point I’m honestly feeling like I might just need to remove it to get some kind of relief. What’s been hitting me just as hard as the physical pain is the emotional side. My husband helps in some ways (appointments, food), but he’s clearly frustrated and not too empathetic. I’m used to that dynamic, but what’s really hurting is my friends. A few checked in during the first week, but now it’s like complete silence. Before the pain we chatted via text and some calls everyday and now, nothing. Even when I reach out and say I’m still in pain, I barely get responses. No one has checked in on their own in over a week. I even went to see a friend yesterday (in pain, on meds, my husband had to drive me) just because I needed a hug, and she seemed distracted and kind of brushed me off. I left feeling worse than before. I know people have their own lives, but it’s really hard not to feel like no one actually cares when things drag on this long. Does anyone else experience this during long flare-ups? Like people show up at first and then disappear? How do you cope with that?
