Anime or Manhua?

Which do y'all prefer?

I love the animation version A LOT more than the Manhua.

Manhua feels like a marshmallow compared to its adaptation.

I will still push through though. Since I am truly invested in the plot.

(sucks its in limbo hiatus for the adaptation and we might only have RtW S1 Ep 1-8)

How powerful was the nuke that Militech used to destroy the Arasaka tower?

From what you can see, the nuke they used looks like a thermonuclear warhead about the size of a bag . Which already exist in real life like America w80 nuclear warhead

How powerful do you think it was? Or was it roughly as powerful as the one in this clip?

This is a clip of the Plumbbob Fizeau atomic bomb test in the Nevada Desert in 1957. It is one of the nuclear bomb tests in Operation Plumbbob. It's yield was 11 kilotons of tnt

Paper?

I am currently reading the light novel and I’ve really been enjoying the description of how the supply lines are created and developed. Everything is so great and makes sense except for one thing. Where is all the paper coming from? There is no mention of supply lines for paper and with the centralized bureaucracy that Roland develops must go through tons of paper every day. No mention of paper mills, no mention of purchasing paper, and no mention of the printing press. Are all the books for the schools made by hand? Every supply line is mentioned except for this crucial one.

Amazing!!

Just finished Release That Witch and honestly loved it. The world-building, kingdom development, witches, and wholesome vibe made it really enjoyable.

Now I’m wondering, should I read the novel or the manhwa next? And is it better to start from the beginning or continue from where the donghua ended?

Would love some recommendations from people who’ve read it.

Novel - dream arc?

I’ve been reading Release That Witch and honestly I couldn’t stop reading it before this arc, I was even reading at work lol.

But now I’m around chapter 660, deep into the Dream World arc, and the pacing feels way slower than before. I don’t think I’ll drop it, but I’m definitely struggling to get back into reading it lately.

Does it get more engaging again later on? Before this arc, it felt a lot more fast-paced and addictive.

i totally loved it, and hope they release a s2, just a fleeting hope. hell its been so long i watched an anime series also been a long time since i watched and liked one..........

There is absolutely nothing good being made in the anime industry these days; it's all hentai, ecchi, harem isekai bullshit. Andd once something good came, studios are fucking their minds over it, fking retards !!!!!!!!!!

Just binged the anime

I think im a bit late on this but HOLY SHIT!!!!!! I remember reading this peak 1500 chapter novel years ago, and now it got an adaptation and its PEAK as well. Im surprised at how accurate the characters were to the novel (unlike the manhua) and goddamn the animation is decent. I imagine how epic the battles against the church and demons will be with that kind of animation. Praying for there to be a 2nd season AT LEAST, but I guess until then there's enough time to reread the novel 10 times over (every time skipping the dream world sequences of course)

The implication from this show is that Chinese have an instinctual affinity for concrete

They are like beavers, they feel extreme distress if they aren't building colossal civilian infrastructure projects. They will spontaneously spawn concrete out of thin air if none are available. The concrete must flow.

That's just a genetic racial ability, see.

To be clear, this is NOT true. But I do feel like that's a very funny stereotype.

How Come Scroll can bring items from the real world to the dream world?

How come Scroll can bring items from the real world to the dream world?
Perhaps I've missed something, but how come she can bring the healing items to the dream world to rescue Fei Yuhan?

Plus it was mentioned that she even brought the magic cube

Just finished rereading the book | 1501 chapters

The later chapters are a bit of slog cos theyre mostly padded with words and mind numbing exposition. Same could be more or less said for most of the book.

My advice is that, you could generally skip everything but the dialogues and you won't miss a thing.

Happy reading!
