Surely a "God" exists and Roland is blessed by it.
There are too many "signs".

What I mean is, author is making his presence be felt in the writing, isn't he?
Roland is an "isekai protagonist", coming from a modern technologically advanced world to a medieval ignorant world. The minimum he can do is use his knowledge to overcome his situation.
Because this is also a world of magic the witches allow him to progress faster than it would be possible, otherwise he would be dead if a few months no matter how hard he worked. It's only natural that when the author thought about the witches's powers he thought about powers that would be useful for this protagonist. At first I already had an eyebrow raised. All the witches that survived and went to Border Town have powers useful for what he is trying to do, all of them? Just exactly what he needed? Hum....

Wouldn't be nice, he Border Town also sheltered witches with powers that aren't immediately useful, to reinforce that it really is a save heaven for witches? That Roland and the Town will accept any witches regardless of their usefulness?

But instead he comes a new witch and she just coincidentally happens to have the power Roland needs the most.
Chemistry was the hardest field to advance, Roland had already reached it's limited with the chemicals it can produce. Develop new chemicals would take years of hard work and luck from the alchemists, but now that they couldn't progress more on that field Lucia arrives. Makes me wonder if Roland also thought the same, "this is too much a coincidence, there must be a higher power at work here helping me".

I'm enjoying this story a lot, but I wish author would stop doing this.
Stop killing witches with powers that aren't immediately useful for Roland.

Continuation from the last time.

The story began with Roland saving a witch from the Church, because of course she couldn't be a witch and the Church was wrong. Immediately the story followed revealing that thing weren't that simple. Yes, the woman was a witch, for real, and then Roland just continued his skepticism that it didn't mean the witch are evil and he doesn't believe in the Devil. Only for them the pattern repeat. Actually demons exist...

If you watched half and anime or read half a manga you should be familiar with the trope that "The Church" and "Church Priests" are "evil", they are always villains, they are always in the wrong. Release that Witch could follow that same patter, but as much as Release That Witch reveals little by little that the Church in the story is shady and is the "antagonist", the Church and it's members aren't exactly "evil", that they are actually ambiguous, some may even say that they are the "Anti-Hero" in this story.

Whatever happen 450 plus years ago, whether they have any blame for the Devils, whatever the truth they are trying to save the world, by any means necessary...

This is interesting.
Even if Roland decides to do something to "defeat the Devils", he probably can't do this without allying with the Church, right?

And related to this, chapter 194... that was hard to read.
Some humans are the true "devils".
And it's interesting to remember that one of the reasons why the Church is doing what is doing the way they are doing is that they also can't stand the Nobility. Not that the tragedy in chapter 194 had anything to do with perpetrator being "nobles", but surely their status helps a lot and magnifies the scare of the tragedy.

Maybe in the end Roland will indeed ally with members of the Church and both will not only defeat the Devils, they will also work to change society for the better.

If... Roland survives his harém.
The comedic romance is still very fun.

I expected this to be interesting, I did not expect this to also be a comedic romance.
While the grown up woman is fantasying like a little girl Roland and Anna are kissing behind her back, it's just too funny! 🤣

When the other witches arrived at Border Town, not all of them trusted Roland. Some are even contrarians that don't want to be all in love with him even if he wishes them well. After all, Roland made it very clear, they all have a business relationship. The witches aren't only receiving favors from him, they are also working for it. Roland need the witches as much as they need him.
So isn't unexpected if one of the witches causes conflict, or even sabotages. And maybe this witch will be Nightingale?

Can Nightingale really accept rejecting, can she really bear to watch Roland and Anna together? What is she can't and she does something against Anna? What if in a moment of emotional stress she ends using that future handgun against her friends? I feel like Roland is setting up his own down by not noticing the witches feelings for him.

There are some deep settings for video, I can see some to change bitrate, framerate, but the most important one for me that is resolution I can't find.

Anyone here knows if it is possible and how to archive this? How to record in 720p resolution?

From Worst to Best:

Xperia Z5 Compact

Yes, it's a Sony, but own an infamy spot here. Small, high quality stereo speakers, high resolution camera, in theory should be the perfect phone for me that only wanted to mostly listen do podcasts, do some tweeting and ocasional photos. But... it came with the Snapdragon 810 SOC, the WORST SOC OF ALL TIME.

If you didn't own a phone with that SOC you just don't know how bad it was. The phone really got hot doing almost nothing and it slowed down hard. DO you believe, it piratically freeze just trying to update my BeyondPod subscriptions?

Stayed with it for less than a week, switched for the second place in this list. The only quality is that it was incredible cheep second hand and when I switched it I got payed the difference, so I profited from suffering from this thing.

Motorola E7
This was my father's mistake. He wanted something to bring with him in the streets, but it came with a microphone defect, making it impossible to use Whatsapp. It rested forgotten in the box when I needed something to substitute my second place phone.
I never seed voice messages or make calls, so the microfone not working didn't bothered me, except when I remembered that I couldn't also record videos with sound. Problem is it was incredible slow, incredible slow! It should had some other problem making it so slow because that wasn't normal.
Had to use it longer than I wanted, but I piratically only used it to be reachable by my family via Whatsapp and to listen to podcasts.
(this is the only phone with a broken screen and still can't accept that it broke so much and easily on that fall)

Motorola Defy
Remember MotoBlur?
First phone I purchased with my money, that's why I purchased it a bit cheaper second hand (perfect condition in the box still somewhat new) with the intention of being adventures with a Custom Rom.
The hardware was good and sturdy, and CyanogenMod made it last much longer than it should, giving it it all. Both overclocked and underclocked it when the battery got older.
Only reason it didn't last longer was because I damaged the screen by accident, and yet it took months for it to finally become unusable.

Motorola G84
This one I got after the E7, good phone, for really got price with a discount directly from Motorola Online Store.
I don't have much to say about this one, is the one that I used for the least amount of time, gave it to my mother after buying the first place in this list after 7 months. It could be higher in this list, but there was some touch bugs in some programs and the Samsung Main Sensor was GARBAGE. The amount of work GCAM had to put do get decent photos from it was unbelievable.
I liked that it was very thing and light.

Motorola G5
That was the phone I got in place of the Xperia. Man, this was good, really good. Immediately after getting it I started testing in the streets and would you know it? That humble Motorola had a better camera than Sony's top end! Also good stereo speaker, removable battery, and even thought multitask worsened after I made it's single Android Update, performance stayed good and fast until the end, with the stock ROM.
This phone was just good, what more could you ask and need from a phone?
Shame it didn't lasted as long as it could, it still had a few more years but without explanation the screen started to died and become unusable in a few months, that's why I had to get the E7 out of the box.

Motorola Edge 50 Neo
I'm with it for a year but I realized faster that it would be number 1.
Getting this phone ruined my satisfaction with the G84, made me realize that it was causing some software bugs and how bad the Samsung Sensor really was.
This phone is small reminiscent of the my beloved Defy and G5, it's beautiful (in it's Latte Color), the battery lasts at least 30% more than with heavy use, it can last 5-6 days with light use, the cameras are good, even the tiny telephoto sensor that is so much fun to use, it's faster than my old notebook. There's nothing to criticize, everything just works, nothing lets me down (except not having wired video output for desktop mode that maybe someday I could perhaps come to use). And I also got it for a good price with big discount.

I hope this last one last at least two more years and that Motorola release a substitute that pleases me. Same design, better telephoto sensor, SiCo big battery, adequate SOC.
