I am consistently being put in lobbies with all solo queue teammates against 5 stacks who seem to have never lost a game in their lives. Every single game I queue, without fail, is against players who are, on average, better skilled and higher rated.

I believe this is because of how the matchmaking, in its simplest form, decides to match players based on win-differential over anything like rank or skill rating, or more importantly, party status.

I'm currently +23 wins ahead of being 50/50 this season (used to be +50ish; now I'm on a loss streak), which means I'm likely matched with players who are around -30 to -10 win rate against teams who can range the same. Since players of any win differential can party together, balancing the match becomes a nightmare, especially for 5 stacks, so it's easier to grab a random couple of soloers with the same spread of wins and match them against each other (historically the worst decision ever made and remedied by any developer worth their salt who has ever built a competitive matchmaking system).

The problem is the matchmaker doesn't update the win rate status regularly, so if you're winstreaking with your party of 4, your win rate can go into orbit before you're matched against players of the same win rating. Same thing when you start losing over and over and over and over and over again. It doesn't update until you've genuinely thought about putting the barrel of a 44 magnum in your mouth and pulling the trigger.

Anyway, this needs to change, stat. I can't continue going on like this. I can't.

Especially 3v3 basically become who is going to exploit the game more while dribbling. They should really fix some of these dribbling exploits that they call "techs". These people only practice and repeat these moves over and over again and even if you know what they are going to do, it still is hard to intercept because they just move with the ball that is impossible in football. The worst of all is there are some moves that the only way you can stop them is them messing up. I hope they do something about this because this game has so much potential. However until then I seriously doubt I will play and have fun.

I mean it just looks stupid and feels so off when someone with 0 stamina keeps up or even manages to snatch ball.

I don't get why people can win a game, have great chemistry, great teamwork, but no-one ever uses the squad up option.

Is the game still pretty active or do I have to wait awhile for matchmaking?
How’s the content like for this game?

Specifically for 5’s, i’m that type of teammate that love to pass the ball when you’re open and create some team plays. Don’t be afraid to drop your @

I absolutely love this game and i feel i owe it a community service of helping the player base grow.

I see a lot of posts of new or lower ranked players feeling like they have incompetent teammates, if you would like someone with 1500+ hours to help you and team up hmu.

I'm getting teamed up with players who can't defend or do a simple pass but I am going against a five stack of last season elites. I'm in gold what they expect me to do.

Upd: just turn on "cross platform" if u have same problem as me
