RE 7 won’t let me enter Lucas’s password
Had anyone encountered this glitch?
I’m in the barn/horror house area where Lucas is keeping Zoe and Mia. After the scripted segment with Lucas behind the locked door, I entered a random code, triggered the trap, then left the room. I did the area in a linear, normal way. I got to the charred corpse that had the password on it (for me, 1408). I went back to the room, entered the password, and nothing happened. I tried to enter it again, and I got a quote saying “I need to find the password”.
Ever since, that’s the only response I get when I approach the key pad.
I’ve tried everything. I’ve restarted the app. I’ve reloaded and tried again (I unfortunately don’t have a save from before I read the code the first time). I’ve run through the whole area again. I’ve even tried to change my inventory. Nothing is working. I literally have the code and have done the pre-req levels. I’m not trying to skip ahead. I literally can’t do anything from here without entering the code.
Any advice? This is extremely frustrating and can potentially run my play through.
