Basic question about RT40 (2023)

Hi,

I have question about Retevis RT40 (the new design, check image) by default the PMR446 version is to power high. It is really 2W or limited to 500mW ?

I know more than 500mW isn’t legal but I'm curious.

I don’t know if retevis limit only software or hardware but I have buyed 2 pieces on aliexpress.

And I have tested in little city it’s like 300m in FM.

trying to set up NOAA weather alerts on my Retevis RB48A radio and i cant figure it out

I am trying to set up weather alerts on my Retevis RB48A radio. I have downloaded the necessary programming software, but every time I try to connect the radio to the software, I receive a “Connection Failed” message.

Could you please help me troubleshoot this issue or let me know what steps I need to take to successfully connect the RB48A to the software and set up weather alerts?
