I have question about Retevis RT40 (the new design, check image) by default the PMR446 version is to power high. It is really 2W or limited to 500mW ?
I know more than 500mW isn’t legal but I'm curious.
I don’t know if retevis limit only software or hardware but I have buyed 2 pieces on aliexpress.
And I have tested in little city it’s like 300m in FM.

I have an issue with my TYT MD390 Plus 10W (on OpenGD77) testing. When I communicates between baofeng radios (like 888s or UV25) no issue appear, so when I transmit with the TYT I have a squelch tail issue (like squelch crash).
I have tested with hackrf to record both baofeng and TYT and replay. The baofeng doesn’t produce squelch tail and no issue appear, but the TYT make big noise sound.
I have tested reducing squelch, up squelch level, reduce power (limit at 500mW in my tests) etc... I don’t see squelch tail elimination settings on my TYT.
It’s possible to fix or not ?
I want to sell my UV25 and Idk if I can have similar radio to 888s if the issue can be fixed.

Hi, I have weird issue, not happen on other games I guess. I have unlocked somes retro archivements and press plus and minus buttons so it’s completely froze the switch with need to force shutdown 🥲. Any person with this issue ?
