Given to me as a child, these death company marines and their chaplain are finally complete.

These were painted and assembled to very closely match the 90s version of the box art. Down to the rogue trader banner pole for the chaplain and the weapon load outs for the marines. There are obviously modern touches like the power sword shine on the weapons, the lack of boarder on the banner, and the plasma weapon's slight glow.

Overall, I am so happy with how these turned out. I think I have finally figured out a way of painting a black space marine I like quite a lot. I am very happy to add these to the growing 90s style Blood Angels army I have been building up.

Just wondering if anyone knows what the actually dimensions this would have been like the height and width of it when finished?

Does anyone know of a template or if they have the dimensions for old banners? I like the idea of designing some of my own and having them printed to match the aesthetic of older models.

Continuing the saga of completing the Blood Angels army I collected as a kid, I have finished the Land speeder! After many hours of glueing, pinning, and painting this flying lead box can join the ranks of his finished brothers.

Overall I am super happy with how these guys turned out and am looking forward to posting the next installation of the journey.

1 squad of tactical marines, 3 squads of scouts, led by a Terminator Librarian... I ordered a few backpacks to finish out the marine squad, and this Space Hulk Librarian in Terminator armor to act as a leader. What chapter should I paint them up as? Do they deserve a rhino or land raider, more marines or a speeder or dreadnought? My 2nd edition marines are White Scars but I feel like doing something different for RT.
