You have 1 mil bro you can't afford this
This is Iraq's starting industry and Iraq's starting cavalry template next to each other. Not sure if this is the fault of vanilla (I don't have GOE), RT56, or Expanded.

I'd really like to play in China soon, but there are so many nations and states that I don't know which clique or state is best, or what the recommended strategy or path would be, so I'd like to ask for recommendations.
Anybody else have France go communist every time while on historical focuses lately? I played a historical Germany game, and France had 2 communist civil wars within a year. The communists lost both times, but they still came to power later, leaving them with a generic leader. I did some testing and played some other games as both historical USA and USSR, and the same thing happened, although in the USSR game the communists actually won the civil war and came into power early. I know if you go alt hist paths that some shenanigans can happen, especially with France, but the fact it happens even when I'm playing on the historical path is quite annoying and has the possibility to derail the game a little (France joining the comintern and causing an early soviet war). I am playing with some other mods, but they are just a few of the better mechanics mods (battalion limiter, devastation overhaul, better ai designs, and better ai divisions are the exact ones) which I don't think would affect something like this, but maybe I'm wrong.
Turkey has a set of decisions to claim, develop, and integrate a bunch of states around them. (I think they're exclusive to using the mod's alternate version of their focus tree. The above screenshot had me annex all concerned areas to myself with cheats to display what it looks like.) All you need to do to be able to do them is control the state in question, be Fascist, or complete the focus "Restore the Imperial Borders".
Each integration is different:
So I decided to try Austria for once and thought just to try the Austro-Hungarian Empire, but something went wrong and it wouldn't let me do the monarchist path. So i decided to do democratic due to the cores that you get such and Nieder and Oberbayern, Baden and Würtemberg in Germany, some in Italy and Yugoslavia, best decision ever! Also before I refused Anschluss I built a lot of forts along the border and that helped so much. Also included the templates I used and due to the sheer amount of bonuses I had every attack they went for I had over 1000 in defence. Any comments or improvents are appreciated:)
I believe I found a mistake while going the Wilhelm Canaris military dictatorship route after the German Civil War.
The decision "Force Beck into Retirement" removes the national spirit "Democratic Opposition". However, it should obviously remove the national spirit "Beckist Opposition" (otherwise, there is no way to ever remove "Beckist Opposition").
I love the German focus tree, by the way. Some people have criticised it for supposedly being over-complicated, but I for one really enjoy all the options. Some of the tooltips could be a bit better in order to make things clearer, but even so, I find it's not that difficult to figure out what I need to do.
Thank you for the great mod!
Im currently playing as El Salvador in central america, and i wanted to ask, which is better for conquest in the generic focus tree, fascism or communism
PS: what is the best central american nation in r56?
I know I can't do it too late, I tried to do it late to squeeze out all the content from the collaborator tree but that allowed Japan to get too strong and I wasn't able to push them out of China. My previous run that started earlier was more successful but not fully successful. Is there something specific to sync the uprising with or some other timing factor?
Self Explanatory Question
Anyone know where this is from? Is this from a mod?
Every time France Capitulates to me as Italy (presumably any country other than Germany) Vichy France gets established without my consent, and they take Var for some reason. it makes me very sad :(
Doing Germany, where Canaris takes power from Beck, offers reconciliation with Goerdeler, with a constitutional monarchy with Wilhelm IV, and ai can’t do Hold New Elections, because the SA has control in states, and I have no way to remove them. I know there are decisions that are available if you have your army in those states, but those decisions are not appearing. I hate to scrap this run but, i’m softlocked without using commands.
I just finished the 2nd russian civil war and Stalin somehow relocated the fleet to the Caspian sea.
Now to get them out, I need to research construction 4 and then build the canal that leads there.
This war is impossible. Who decided that fascist America should just lose 2/3 of their divisions and the consitutionalists be given 100? The ceding of several areas also encircles many default spawned troops and because democratic usa spawns in 100 divisions they get crushed. How am I supposed to play this god awful path? Is there any way to win such a blatantly one sided war? The volunteers I received were not at all enough either
I tried playing as Indochina yesterday, with a view to playing as Vietnam.
Some suggestions:
Some focuses mention coal and dams - but just build civilian factories. They should build coal and dams.
There are focuses which mention militia, and unit templates named militia. They should have militia instead of infantry.
Ho Chi Minh is a Field Marshal. He shouldn't be, he never had a truly military role as he was a civilian leader.
Does anyone have a list, or know where to find a list of all the New Personality traits added in the mod? (Traits like Career officer, Cautious, Reckless, new ones like Meticulous, and Caring leader, etc.)
I'm asking because there used to be a really good trait called "Decisive" or something like that or the other, only found in the mod, only on one of the CCP's Generals. It sped up Planning Speed by 50% or something but now i can't find it and honestly can't rightfully remember its name.
i want to use Console Commands to add the trait to one of my generals but i'd need the name of the trait for it to work. anyone know? does anyone know a path i can follow to look in R56's files and try to find it? i'm new to computers in general.
