Hey guys, I just got the card yesterday and so far, it’s been good. I’m just wondering in your opinion, what do you think of the card?

I don’t have Robinhood.

It unfortunately feels very scammy and sketchy from the outside.

Tell me what it’s like without all the marketing nonsense.

How easy is the platform? Do they make doing the taxes easy? How is the card and interface?

I have a feeling that with all the referrals going around and near guaranteed approval, the 3% on everything is probably getting removed or reduced.

I've been lurking through this sub for a while seeing everyone trying to get the Gold Card for months.

Meanwhile, I've been with RH for about 5 years, but currently only have about $100 left in it (I moved most of my stuff out a few years ago).

The last 3 months RH keeps sending me emails (at least weekly) saying I'm approved for the Gold Card. Every time I log into RH, I get a popup offering me the Gold Card.

I've never asked for it, never put my name on a wait-list or anything.

Not bragging or anything, I'm just truly trying to figure out RH's thinking on who they offer the card to. There are people with tons of money in RH that have been trying to get the card, but can't. Then there me...

Are they targeting people who are barely using RH trying to get them more involved/invest more money/use them more?

over 2.5 years. i have over an 800 credit score.

is RobinhoodGC only meant for low credit score individuals they can prey on?
