We Are Scientists drummer shares memory of playing on David Letterman, dream come true to ask drums or rentals, and letterman sending a car for him at 3am. Crazy fun story! (25:38 into the episode)

keith Carne (drummer for we are scientists) shared a great story about playing on the late show with David Letterman.

he said he used to watch letterman obsessively and it was always a dream come true. Letterman even sent a car to pick him up for soundcheck at 4am, the car showed up around 3am. Keith joked “it was mega earlier.”

at the time he was on a brutal tour, subletting his own bedroom in brooklyn and sleeping on friends’ couches. still, getting to play letterman was a huge highlight.

he also mentioned hoping Letterman would ask the classic “are these your drums or rentals?” question

Otis Driftwood's character

I like how Otis evolves a lot as the films go on. He starts out as this ranting, perpetually pissed off radical in House of 1000 Corpses, has mellowed slightly in Devil's Rejects but still very loud and cranky. And then in 3 from Hell, he's basically a cuddly grandpa who occasionally murders people. It's cute.

House of 10000 corpses

I just watched the movie! my cousin said I should watch it since I’m a HUGE fan of Texas chainsaw massacre and I really do like it although I don’t really care for the ending of it

also, Captain and mama firefly are the parents of baby firefly and tiny? or is tiny, Otis and rufus their adopt kids or something?

I’m currently watching Devils rejects and planing to watch from hell and wanted to see everyone else’s opinions on the movies :)
