Snes mini modding help

Ive been trying to re-mod my snes classic since i i felt like playing again, at first i was having trouble for different reasons (the usual ones people post about here, fixed them by reading through the post here)

but now i have a new problem, when i try to flash the custom kernel (yes i flashed the original kernel first) it will get to 85% and try to reboot, jumping to 92%, but for some reason specifically this reboot, despite the prior 2 working fine, messes something up and my pc says the device is unrecognized

ive read a couple times windows 11 is a problem so i went and made a vm for windows 10 but its the same problem, it works fine till the last step, i pause at 85% for a bit try to reboot, and it will disconnect, come back on, my pc makes the noise for a device connecting but it wont recognize it and the install fails

im sorry if this is something thats been answered before but i genuinly can not find anything on how to fix it

EDIT: oh and for what its worth, i am able to play on it fine when i hook it up to a tv

Recent Lower Pricing Trend For A Used SNES Mini Even In The USA Market... 😊

The SNES Mini has always been the most popular Mini console around with still to this day people purchasing used ones and it's a market that I've always kept an eye on and followed closely...

So it been nice to notice in recent times that while you could always pick up a boxed genuine used SNES Mini for around £65, that the "lower price trend" seems to have finally reached the USA market where buyers have been paying way over the odds for them for a number of years now...

If you live in the UK then most days of the week you can pick up a genuine fully boxed great condition SNES Mini for on average around £65 (less in some cases, as low as around £50)and those still asking for "crazy prices" happily aren't selling them...

The USA on the other hand has always been a tougher market for a used SNES Mini with people looking to buy one having to often pay well over the odds for one. Recently though (and happily) I've noticed that finally you can much of the time now pick up the genuine article on eBay for an average of around $100...

While it's not surprising (to me) to see that there is still a huge interest in people looking to purchase a SNES Mini, it is nice however to notice that the shysters and scammers in the USA who have always asked for absurd prices for the consoles are no longer for the most part getting those crazy prices they ask for and now in the USA you can pick up a genuine SNES Mini for what is a more reasonable and more realistic price... 😊

Long may that trend continue and let it be a warning to those loony tunes who bought a SNES Mini but never used it hoping to make a quick buck in the future that it will never happen as these are not the type of items that do hold a high value years later unlike the original hardware... 😉

I want to use a nes advantage stick with the nes classic

I have an old adapter that is designed to work with a wiimote to plug in snes/nes/megadrive pads. I thought it long lost but I found it recently and thought I would try it with the newer minis.

I’ve tested it today with a nes classic and it just goes mental, scrolling hard left. I tried connecting a snes pad and the L & R buttons worked and that was all.

I’m guessing it is down to incompatible hardware timings. The adapter was VERY cheap and is totally unbranded, it works absolutely fine on the Wii emulation nes and snes just not the newer classics.

Has anyone got a working solution to connect a nes advantage to a nes classic? I was also hoping to connect a powerglove up at some point.

Got these on a whim while on vacation in Maine at a store called Mardens I figured for 3$ what could go wrong.
