Hello. Is there any progress at all on hacking the Sega Mega Drive Mini 2? Right now, it's just sitting on a shelf looking pretty, and I'm really disappointed that I can't install my favorite games on it. Because of this, I'm thinking about selling it and buying the Hyperkin Mega Retron instead.

Hi guys I need some help.....my sega megadrive mini somehow got corrupted ...so when I turn it on it boots to stock but has no usb power....something to do with mod I did....so I just want to take it back to stock ...where can I find a uk stock megadrive kernel as I did the mod 5 years ago and dont have it anymore....any help would be greatly appreciated

As most of us know, the Nintendo 64 classic edition never came out, and by extension there was no market for a Nintendo 64 copycat controller. There are NES, SNES & GCN style wii classic controllers on the market, which are perfect for virtual console, game collections, games of the same series but on different consoles, etc. Yes, there's the switch online N64 controller with bloopair, and raphnet's adapters, but the switch n64 controller is too expensive and raphnet's adapters need an aoready existing n64 controllers, with official ones being hard to find and sometimes having broken joysticks, and unofficial controllers being low quality.

To give some context: I'm back into modding my SNES Mini mainly because my Kid is now 5 years old, and I'm having him discover "old classics" with easy/basic gameplay - Which fits a lot of SNES/Megadrive games.
Like most young boys, he's crazy into cars / racing, and I've set-up some 2.5D classics (outrun, F1 games, etc.), and I am wondering if there is a way to set-up a racing controller for him to enjoy.
I have a pair of 8BitDo retroreceivers, as I am using the 8BitDo modkit for SNES Mini controllers.
I guess that I can use a bluetooth-enabled racing controler, connect it through the retroreceiver, and configure it in RetroArch / Mame, but I'm looking for feedbacks / recommendations from anyone that tried to achieve a similar exercise.
Controller I was eyeing was something like a Hori Pro Mini, but I have no clue if such a set-up could actually work.
I recently acquired a h5 handheld gaming console, and would like to add a couple mega drive and snes games to it. I dont know how though. (Or even if its possible)
I downloaded some roms, took the sd card out the console, put it in my laptop, but it said it needs to be formatted to work. It works in the console though. Im not at all educated on this stuff and its beyond me so go easy on me.
So recently, I tried to remove a game from my NES custom game library by right clicking and selecting "Delete selected games." I thought this would delete the highlighted game which I clicked on. But, I later found out that it possibly deleted all the other selected games with a check mark on the left side of their names. The same goes for the other tabs such as Super Famicom and Genesis.
Every time I open up Hakchi again, I would get sent this message above. If there is anyone here that can help me out on this problem, it will be greatly appreciated as I'm pretty much stuck. Thank you.

I'm trying to play PuLiRuLa, and I've done all the correct steps. I've imported it as archive, chose Mame 2003 extreme, and am running it off of a usb. It worked in the past when I played it directly off the mini itself, but now every time I load it off the USB I get an error C7 when trying to launch it. Any suggestions on fixing this?
Does having a USB drive prevent the need for folders? I prefer the look of having no folders, but I don't want any issues or crashes.
