Workflow for importing lots of samples into the TR-1000?

I have around 30gb of sounds that I’d love to put into my TR-1000. I have them in folders on a flash drive that correspond to the TR-1000 categories (BD A, BD E, SD A, etc.), but when I tried a batch import of one of these folders, the import got stuck at 0% for over an hour, so I gave up.

I was able to import one sample successfully via USB, but going 1 by 1 is obviously tedious.

Has anyone had success importing this much data? If so, how’d you do it?

Per channel streaming to DAW?

Is it currently possible to stream individual channels to a DAW much like the TR8S can?

If not, any rumours when

Surely possible over USB C?

Finally joined the TR-1000 club and I’m pairing it with a PlayDiff Model 1

I’m building this primarily as a hardware techno setup, with the TR-1000 handling the drums and the Model 1 becoming the center of the mix/performance side of the setup.

I’m especially interested in using the TR-1000 beyond just 808/909 sounds as well.
I’m still getting everything set up, so TR-1000 owners: what are the features/workflows you think I should learn first? Any tips, hidden functions, or techno-specific tricks would be greatly appreciated.

Excited to finally dive into this thing.

Is anyone gigging with their TR-1000?

These things are huge and I'm wondering if you bring it to clubs or gigs, or if you use your 1000 strictly as a studio piece.

It seems like a lot of us might (or have) replaced say 2 pieces of kit with a TR-1000, so in practice, it being gigantic isn't quite as big of a deal.

Are you lugging this around or not?

Clubby Techno on the Tr-1000

Sound and synths used are from the factory installed sounds, stereo recorded in Logic adding a little loudness bump.

Record Stereo or Mono to DAW?

How do y’all typically record the TR-1000 into your DAW, or what’s the recommended practice?

Lately, I’ve just been using the master out and recording each individual track as I go because I do want to retain some of the stereo information from certain tracks (reverb, delay, etc.).

That being said, what’s the advantage of recording the individual tracks if they’re always mono? Is there a benefit I’m missing to recording each track separately versus just recording the stereo master?

Man, I didn’t realize this machine has some people irrationally worked up about it.

I’ve made a couple posts in other subs…synth/music production forums primarily to ask some questions about signal flow.

Half the comments I’ve gotten have been ire towards the machine lol. I mean it’s expensive, but it’s exceptionally impressive. As soon as I loaded my first couple kits and made some patterns, I knew I would going to be completely happy with it.

How're we feeling almost a year in?

For those of you that have it would love your thoughts. I'm considering picking one up and debating on a few different options, what are your pros and cons now that you've had it for a while?
