Classic Trance on OP-XY

This one was quite a challenge to figure out how to get that classic plucky trance sound, but I am really pleased with the final result. All sounds are from the factory synths and samples. The Trance pluck and strings are connected to the gyroscoop to create some filter movement and tonal changes. Recorded into Logic Pro with a little loudness bump on the master. Enjoy… and hopefully a nice trip down to memory lane :)

Field recording with the TP-7

Pulled the trigger during the sale and my tp-7 is on its way. Anyone here using it in combination with the OP-XY for sampling in field recordings? Are you using the internal mic and what is your process for the OP-XY given the limited sample time. Thanks for your feedback!

Maschine 3 and Logic Pro

For those of you who are running Maschine as a plugin in Logic Pro. How are you using it and what is you process for mixing, routing etc? I currently have komplete 15 standard and a s49 mk3. I primarly make house music. Reason why I am asking is that I can get a good deal on a maschine mk3, but just curious to learn what the added value could be to my process/workflow. Thanks!

Lead sound is coming from the Virus, running through the Oto Bam reverb. TR-1000 on the drums and the Minitaur on the bass. I was actually going for another Dubby techno beat, but obviously it turned into something completely different 🤣. Any thoughts about the genre you thinks this belongs to?
