RXM gets too hot to handle on range days

Anybody else have their RXM basically become a hot potato after a couple boxes of 115gr? Specifically the lower frame where you place your support thumb - 'gas pedal' but mostly the entire FCI area

Is it just a fault of the FCI being a chunk of metal throughout the gun? I can't say most of the 9mms i've shot ever had this issue

Full size grip/long slide

Ruger Rxm

Have this Rxm ran about 800-900 rounds and ehhh Its ok not that impressed , not a fan of the trigger feels gritty and long creep , my gen 3 glock 30 trigger feels WAY better in my opinion and i shot the g30 and other guns I own way more accurate then the Rxm. In all rounds I had 1 failure to extract 1 light prime strike and 1 punctured primer ( was using Winchester white box so could be the shitty ammo ). How do you guys feel about the Rxm?

Really considering the Sharps Bros grip mod

Does anyone happen to have a Sharps Bros grip mod and know if it works with a standard RXM holster? I want to get one but i don't want to have to get another holster again lol.

New holster, who dis?

This is a big upgrade for me coming from a cross breed reckoning holster cause it actually has retention the cross breed would jump in the holster if it pulled my pants up by the belt

I wanted a wing cause all my other holsters have one and they have been comfortable, for some reason I though they’d be uncomfortable

Battle belt holster recommendations

Recently picked up the 4 in RXM with a Vortex Venom optic, and put the full size grip on it. I absolutely love it. I have been looking for a holster for my battle belt that works well with the RXM, with or without a Surefire x300. Any recommendations for RXM specific holsters or compatible holster would be great. Thanks y’all

Price trend/check (4.5" full size)

Not sure if a price check is allowed. If not, please delete.

My local FFL can get a full size 4.5" for $410 plus sales tax here in UT -- so likely around $445, all-in. As a frequent gun.deals user, the lower prices are typically around $360-370, before shipping, sales tax (for some), and FFL transfer fee -- all-in is likely around $405.

In general, if the all-in price is close enough -- even if higher -- I generally prefer making the purchase locally. I've seen people mentioning a price range of $330-360, but haven't seen anything like that as of late.

Thanks.

Subcompact frame Binding

Just bought a new RXM compact plus subcompact grip. Subcompact is Binding horribly, when i put it back in the compact it runs perfectly. Anyone had this issue before can tell me what the fix is? All my springs and pins are in correctly as is my barrel lock

First home cerakote job

This is my first attempt at cerakote, I think it turned out alright. I purchased the Liberty build co mag funnel weeks ago but it was so ugly I couldn't force myself to put it on. There was a massive stain on it and with my black grip it looked really bad. Love the way it looks now

Still an RXM?

Got a CAA chassis on it. Never fired once with it. Taking the pistol to carry more.

Glock 17 G6 vs RXM

All...first time poster here. Thinking about picking up my very first Glock or Glock clone. Any thoughts between the 17G6 vs the RXM? Maybe I'll pick up both eventually but let's just start with one. haha

FWIW...I'm a long-time competitive shooter and shoot CZ Shadows. Although I have shot a Glock, that was about 13 years ago. Probably should go rent a 17G6 and RXM for some first-hand experience. Nonetheless, just want to get some thoughts from y'all. Not really thinking about competition for Glock/RXM. Just want one.

Thanks.

Footage of FSP CROSS frame running great!

This is one of the first frames from the Rice field Armament that went out and I’ve received great feedback from the owner and the people he’s been showing it to!
