To be Ryze is to suffer.

I wouldn’t be playing this champ if he was a pick ban, top of the meta, 5 skins a year champion. Being an underdog is part of the appeal to me. To be a Ryze main is to endure - not to thrive. If you aren’t questioning your life choices while first picking him every game you are doing it wrong. This champ in a lot of ways is a constant up-hill battle, and I enjoy the miserable climb.

Do you want an easy, enjoyable time? Then don’t play this champ

Do you want to work 10x as hard to achieve the same results as 80% of the mid-lane roster while being blue and bald? Then lock the fuck in.

Cases where they are mandatory?

Been a Ryze one trick for years but it feels bad locking him into a team comp that I know makes me impotent.

Obviously a perfect secondary champ doesn’t exist - but what has been a good emergency secondary pick to learn in your experience?

Eu sinto uma dificuldade insana de fica na lane contra esse boneco, só consigo me sobressair quando a pessoa não joga tanto com syndra, mas para os que sabem mesmo, eu não consigo punir o lv1 (único lv que o ryze é melhor) por conta que a é apenas muito difícil desviar daquela skill, mesmo com celeridade (runa de feitiçaria) e move speed na runa menor. Alguém tem alguma dica?

This subreddit is already fairly slow, the fact it takes at times 3+ days to post a photo/clip and keep the sub alive is insane. We need either more active mods to approve posts, or to lift the approval on media content. Who cares if the sub goes to shit with troll posts if its dead any other time???

Yep, the endless debate over old vs. new Ryze is finally going to be put to rest. Once the classic servers drop, we’ll know for good whether the original version is superior, or if the modern iteration is actually the more playable and effective one.

Even though situational, it is kinda underrated if there are multiple ap champs on the enemy team and yours as well. Since Ryze is short ranged its passive should almost always work as well.
