How are people booking Srivani current-day darshan within 1-2 seconds?

I've been trying to book 3 Srivani Trust tickets for current-day darshan for the past 10 days and I cannot figure out how anyone is succeeding at this.

Here's what happens at 9 AM sharp: the form opens, I start typing the first family member's details (name, age, gender, Aadhaar), and within literally 1-2 seconds the slots are already blocked and payment processing is showing as underway. I haven't even finished typing one person's name. There's no paste option, no pre-fill from previous bookings every field has to be typed fresh.

I'm on a good internet connection, logged in well before 9 AM, on the booking page ready to go. So my question to anyone who's actually succeeded:

  1. How are you physically typing 3 people's full details (including 12-digit Aadhaar numbers) faster than 2 seconds? Is there something I'm missing?
  2. Does the ₹10,000 Srivani Trust donation need to be made in advance? I know it's required for the 3-month advance booking, but does pre-donating also help with current-day booking like, does it skip a step in the form or unlock something? Or is the donation always taken at the same time as the ticket payment for current-day slots?
  3. Any other tips from people who've actually pulled this off — browser, device, network, account settings, anything?

Not looking for travel agent referrals, just genuine experiences from people who've booked this themselves. Thanks 🙏

SRIVANIDarshan Tickets for US Passport holding Kid (13 year old )

Hello everyone,

I have a question regarding advance booking for the Srivani Trust VIP Break Darshan for this August.

My wife and I are Indian citizens living in the US (holding Indian passports, Green Cards, and Aadhaar cards). However, our children are US citizens with US passports (son is 13, daughter is under 12).

I plan to make a ₹30,000 donation under my Aadhaar card to book VIP Break Darshan tickets for myself, my wife, and my 13-year-old son using the donor privileges. Since my daughter is under 12, she does not require a ticket.

My question is: Are US passport holders permitted to join the Srivani Darshan queue with us if they are booked as co-travelers under my primary Indian Aadhaar-based donation? Will the security or verification teams stop them at the queue?

If anyone with foreign passport holders in their family has done this recently, I would appreciate it if you could share your experience.

Thanks in advance.

Om Namo Venkatesaya!

Changes in Srivani Darshan

During my last visit in 2024, they used to let us go very close to deity and offered a prasadam inside the temple near the deity inside the sanctum. Did they make any changes to this practice now?

TTD STRONGLY CONDEMNS ALLEGATIONS AGAINST SRIVARI TICKTES BOOKING SYSTEM

TTD reiterated that the SRIVANI online ticket booking system is completely transparent.

The online Srivani ticket system, which was launched in May 2019 in collaboration with TCS, continues to be in operation. Based on requests from devotees, the offline system—where tickets were issued on a day-to-day basis in Tirumala—was modified. Under this revised system, the software has been designed to allocate tickets on a “first-come, first-served” basis to those who access the application first.

Thousands of devotees attempt to secure tickets daily. Consequently, within the first minute and a half of availability, the system locks the tickets for those who accessed the application earliest. Subsequently, tickets are issued to those who successfully complete their payment via the payment gateway. If, for any reason, a payment fails to process, the corresponding tickets  returns to the general pool. This process is a standard practice implemented in services such as IRCTC and other government-run advance booking systems.

Human intervention has been completely eliminated from this entire process.  The system operates automatically.

It is indeed true that tickets are issued after a delay of ten minutes. This is because the software has been designed to retrieve tickets—and make them available to devotees once again—in instances where TTD does not receive a confirmation message regarding the deposit of funds, whether due to technical glitches at the payment gateway during the transaction or for other reasons.

A qualified person coupled with an extensive 32 years of experience in the IT sector, was appointed solely as the GM (IT) [FAC] (Full Additional Charge) on a stop-gap arrangement.

In the interest of devotee convenience, TTD has completely abolished the use of “auto-filling” and “copy-paste” mechanisms, thereby ensuring equal opportunities for all.

Furthermore, all systems within the TTD undergo an annual audit conducted through AP Technology Services (APTS).

The demonstration of the Srivani ticket booking process, presented by the former TTD Chairman during today’s press conference, did not appear to be executed with a complete understanding of the system. During his attempt to book a ticket, he proceeded as far as the payment gateway stage. He subsequently characterized this outcome as a “technical glitch.” However, the transaction was rejected at the payment gateway because his account lacked sufficient funds.

Consequently, when he attempted the process again, it was technically registered as a fresh attempt by the system.

By that time, the system had already prioritized other users who were ahead of him in the queue. As a result, he fell behind in the waiting list. Only technological experts know and understand well about these technical nuances.

SRIVANI Tickets via Lucky Dip

  • Possibility of obtaining tickets at Vijayawada, Vizag, and Rajahmundry airports.
  • A massive parking hub to be established near Zoo Park.
  • TTD EO Muddada Ravichandra explains the new initiatives.

Lucky Dip System for SRIVANI Tickets

To prevent irregularities in the online booking of SRIVANI (Sri Venkateswara Alayala Nirmanam) Trust tickets, TTD EO Muddada Ravichandra says that a Lucky Dip system will be implemented from now on. While maintaining a limit of 1,500 tickets, TTD is also considering issuing SRIVANI quotas directly from airports in Vijayawada, Vizag, and Rajahmundry.

Clearing the Backlog

There are currently about 41,000 devotees who have already made donations and are waiting for darshan. To accommodate them, 300 tickets per day will be allocated starting in June, with a goal to clear the entire backlog within the next 5 to 10 months. Ravichandra emphasized that the priority is to reform the administration to better serve common devotees.

New Darshan Formats for Faster Access

By increasing the speed of the darshan lines, devotee discomfort is reduced. Even during peak periods, TTD successfully facilitated darshan for 250,000 people in just three days. A new format for VIP Break Darshan has been introduced to reduce waiting times for common pilgrims, ensuring they get the "Darshan Bhagyam" of the Lord more quickly.

Mega Parking Near Zoo Park

  • Environmental Concerns: Noise and air pollution in Tirumala have reached concerning levels. The goal is to strictly reduce silencer noise and constant honking.
  • Vehicle Limits: Currently, 70,000–80,000 vehicles travel uphill; the target is to limit this to 40,000.
  • Infrastructure: TTD plans to use 200–300 acres of forest land near the Zoo Park (Alipiri area) to create a Mega Parking, Accommodation, and Scanning Hub. Devotees would park there and take electric buses to the hilltop.

Enhanced Medical Services

More services are being introduced in TTD-run hospitals. Plans are underway to bring in eminent doctors from Super Specialty, Pediatric, and Gastroenterology departments to serve as "Srivari Sevaks" for a week or a month at a time. There are also proposals to involve NSS and NCC students in Srivari Seva in the future.
