I'm preparing for ssc CGL 2027 and just started my preparation.....I gave 4 or 5 mains exam and in English I've been scoring around 110-115 marks I need advice should I take full lectures of aman vashisth paid batch or just simply watch nimisha mam or rani mam grammar free playlist on YouTube cause as per my analysis I'm making mistakes in some repeated concepts of grammar..... As someone who just started ssc journey I'm but confused what should I do ?

I am totally stuck at one place , dont know from where and how to prepare ? If possible mates , try to help

Guys, yeah the timing of this question is very late but it's for a long run, I just need a single, collective source for every section without outsourcing to many sources which really triggers my anxiety and finding hard to prepare

Can anyone comment down all the resources used to prepare for SSC CGL ( also I'm not a cbse student )

I recently completed my graduation and have decided to dedicate my full focus toward clearing SSC CGL 2027. Since I am starting early, I have roughly 12 to 18 months, which I want to utilize efficiently without falling into the common traps of resources overload or wrong guidance.

I am starting completely from scratch. I want to ask the community a few specific questions to help me streamline my routine:

*Where do I start in Month 1? Should I jump straight into finishing the syllabus topic-by-topic, or should I attempt a Previous Year Paper (PYQ) mock right now just to gauge my baseline?

*What are the best/most reliable resources right now? I see a lot of conflicting opinions on YouTube vs. Paid Batches. Could you recommend the best teachers or books specifically for a beginner?

°Maths/Quants: (Are Gagan Pratap, Aditya Ranjan, or RBE highly recommended for foundational basics?)

English: (Is Neetu Singh Vol 1 + Blackbook for Vocab still the gold standard?)

°GK/GS: (How do people deal with Parmar SSC or Lucent without burning out?)

*Reasoning: (Do I actually need a full course, or is it manageable purely via PYQs?)

*Syllabus vs. Practice Ratio: Since I have plenty of time for 2027, how should I divide my timeline? Is it better to spend the first 8-9 months purely on finishing the concepts, or should I mix heavy mock-test practice right from the start?

I am aiming for 2027 and starting my prep now.

But I am very confused about GS resources.

With the new unpredictable pattern I don't know what will be enough.

There are so many names being bounced around like lucent, fatman, manohar pandey, lakshmikant, arihant.

And there there is question of batch or YouTube videos. What should I use?

Buy some book like fatman and make extra notes in it or make my own notes from scratch or Buy class notes and study online while adding details or take printout of any of these things?

I need help 😫 Can someone share their short notes or notes ?
