Hey everyone! I just came across this subreddit. I’m an SSTC alumnus from back when it was still called SSCET. It’s been about 14 years since I graduated. I was in the Computer Science department. Happy to answer questions if you have any on my work experiences or anything career related..

I know about the bad evaluation thing going on due to one and only "CSVTU". Due to which BIT D has fallen down in reputation too. Konsa college lena chahiye ?

SSTC or BIT D

My requirements are:- i get time for upskilling myself , decent college life mil jaaye , padhayi bhi ho paaye, evaluation sahi ho!!

Can someone please give details about the on campus placements of SSTC please!

I've been checking this subreddit for the last few days, and I've come across quite a few posts about backs, strict attendance, and people saying there's barely any college life at BIT. It's making me rethink whether it's still the best option.

Compared to colleges like SSTC , is BIT still worth choosing? Or has the difference between them become much smaller now?

See that's a result of a person who studied for 6hrs for semester exams , and this is how csvtu treated them .

Also whoever doesn't know , sstc isn't affiliated with csvtu anymore instead it's a self financed university which comes under sspu ( can check cgte counselling choice filling , by applying filters )

Hi i will be joining cse here but i am really confused what to choose ai or core please seniors guide me ...

ok so i am hella confused rn

i passed 12th this year with pretty good scores PCM+CS+Physical education+english

i gave cuet and jee and cgpet this year

and in jee i scored horrible but in cgpet i got less than 1000 rank

and my cuet score is good(GAT+English+PCM)

To agar mujhe btech cs krna hai to gec ya fir sstc(as per my knowledge sstc is better than others and pretty chill)

aur agar bsc krna hai to i will like to go with forensic science or bsc maths(ggu bilaspur se)

kyuki mujhe lgta hai bca ya bsc cs se acha btech cs(pvt colleege) hai

Aur drop nhi le skti mere parents ne mna kar diya hai

so pleasee help me out with your experience and knowledge

Aur agar upar likhi hui koi baat glt hai to pleasee correct me (pta kuch khas mujhe bhi nhi hai)

and no i am nt doing cs kyuki sab kar rhe hai bhed chal ye wo

i am actually intrested in that aur merko lgta hai physics chemistry se jyada strong meri cs and maths hai(last year i was supposed to participate in a hecathon but boards ke chakkar me nhi kar payi😭)

(aur ye new acc hai aj hi bnaya for college queries and stuff very out of context ikrr )

I'll be joining sstc this year, can someone please tell me if there are cheap options for the following and location of the same?

1. 1bhk or 1 RK room (non sharing)with wifi

2. 2bhk room (sharing) wifi

3. hostels

And tiffin services

Please tell me the cost too

Is it allowed to take our laptops daily to clg , if we are then so we can use our laptop for coding and etc ? Over just tell me Abt the laptop scene in this clg
