About severe rain and thunderstorms for next 3 hours??

Red alert about severe rain & thunderstorm in next 3 hours.

So it has been 1 year since i gave jee & i didn't qualify it for some reasons. I am now in a tier 5 college.

My parents say that after completing btech they'll pay for my mtech, and while doing mtech (b4 i complete my pg degree) they'll get me married.

They say, once a girls starts doing job, her interest towards earning for herself increases & she loses her interest to marry. According to them, eventually I'll refuse to become a housewife after marriage if they let me do a job. So it's better that girls should never earn. 😀

So girls here, plz fight for your future. Go to a good college. Get a good paying job. Become independent.

I will do whatever i can to get a good job tho.

Wanted to know for a friend. Worth it here in R1?? Or any better options for this particular course in CG?

Ok so in college he was one of my first friends. Yes a male friend & just a friend. We have a friend group together. Earlier he used to be respectful and carefully talked with us. By the time our friendship grew closer. He started being in his actual self which now is completely diff from before.

1. He thinks girls & their opinions are waste.

2. He always makes comparisons like men vs women. Always demeans like "women ☕☕☕"

3. He gets insecured whenever any senior favours me over him and badmouths me.

4. He has good height & fair complexion. That's it. He thinks with just this, girls would drool over him.

5. Once he openly said "ham jayenge camping pe, ladkiyan bistar banana & khana banane ka kaam karengi". Like so openly!! (Maybe that's normal but not for me)

Moreover He has certain checklists for a girl to be his gf :

1. The girl has to be milky white & very pretty (he himself looks like 30yr old + receding hairline)

2. He wants a girl with no past. (He has a past)

3. She has to soft spoken. (He just speaks whatever he likes irrespective of who is in front)

4. The girl should wear western clothes but her thinking should be modest. (Most bizzare)

I feel sorry for his future wife & daughter! May god give him brains! When i realised these, i got disgusted by him & silently got distanced from him.

I am in peace ever since!

Boys here, in future if your wife makes a mistake & adds extra salt or extra spices or anything extra in your food, would you be mad on her? Would you throw away the plate? A few mins ago my father did this to mom. I hate him for this.

Accidentally my mom poured extra cashew nuts in his chicken curry. He didn't like it. He threw over the plate which had curry rice papad & curd chutney. Just because mom added extra cashew nuts. For this mere thing.

Maybe he had bad mood, that doesn't mean he will disrespect my mom & food like this. Yet no one said anything to him & no one dares to. He never compliments anything mom makes. Never. Always finding minor mistakes "aalu pura paka nahi, masale kam / zada daal diye, thanda chawal paros rahe ho" and so on.

I cook usually, ik how much it takes to prepare a meal. Its month of may. Heavy heat. Still if one gets to hear things like this, it would make them depressed. I can't see her bearing all these.

I am a 2nd sem student planning to do VT in iiitnr this month. Anyone plzz Help me with these questions 🫠

1. Is this decision good? How good do they teach there?

2. What is the minimum attendance percentage for certificate?

3. How is the food at hostel?

4. Hygeine?? Safety...? (We are a girls group coming together that's why concerned...)

5. Where will we be given rooms? In the regular hostel or some guest hostels??

6. Wifi there or not??

Right now these many questions... Will update this if i got more..
