I will be in Bhilai for two weeks (21st to 6th) visiting my in-laws. I am from down south, about an hour from Kanyakumari, so this is my first proper time exploring Chhattisgarh.

My wife will show me around, but I would love to get some unfiltered local suggestions on:

• Day Trips: Anything with history, ancient temples, ruins, or scenic architecture within driving distance(preferably within a couple of hours).
• Food: I eat non-veg and really want to try authentic Chhattisgarhi delicacies and local street food favorites.

Drop your go-to spots, hidden gems, and must-try dishes. Thanks in advance!

You know a while back fire broke out in Lucknow after that event coaching across india was being inspected which includes our CC coaching centres also. Well coaching centres are still running as usual. Anyway now there is a tukaram effect going on in bhilai first vishwanath then loote choco pie now the infamous jaika bakery. The profit margin of these shops is on the roof they still do malpractices.

I think people will now move more towards the cafe and are ready to pay a premium price for it.
