I grew this plant from seed when I moved into my place in the Salinas/Soledad area in California. I’m moving in a few days and plan to start over with a new plant rather than move it. This was my first attempt and I had to learn some lessons along the way, but it’s generally healthy. I’ve never had a problem with pests of any kind with any of my plants. Does anyone want it? Or have any suggestions on the best way to donate it. (Before anyone gets concerned, the heater doesn’t get used.)

“The City of Salinas recently conducted a community renaming process for City parks and library facilities currently bearing the name of Cesar Chavez. As part of this process, community members were invited to submit proposed names for consideration.

We received hundreds of submissions from members of the Salinas community. Each submission was reviewed to determine whether it met the established requirements for consideration.

Following this review, the City has identified the submissions that meet the requirements and are eligible for consideration. We are now asking the community to help us determine which name(s) should move forward.”
