Yaar matlab I love his comedy and all but his jokes on latent nowadays are too much repeated..matlab wahi f.i.r, balraj father (ab toh woh panel mein nahi isliye nahi ho raha) ,har baar brand ki bezzati wale jokes matlab they are so predictable aur koi act agar audience ko achha bhi laga ho fir bhi faltu mein bezzati matlab in first season he was not forcefully trying to make jokes which was real & raw but in this he is trying to make jokes so forcefully ki achhe performance ko bhi bura boldo aur voh baar baar u-turn wala joke ki pehle kuchh aur bolo aur end mein aake palat jaao waale joke..if you see in saurav's episode...so many times he made jokes on ki harsh is dependent on bharti aur bahot baar wahi jokes repeat kar dega magar jab uske upar gay jokes hone lage toh offend hogaya ki 'kitni baar wahi maaroge' aur 'grow up man' matlab pehle toh khud repeat karo jokes aur jab dusre kare toh offend hojaye..ab samay bhakts aayenge aur bolenge magar I just said what I felt aur I am not his hater...I follow him from very long time

Edit:- man what are these comments ki comedian runs out of jokes wagera ya jo bhi.. I am just saying if he repeats the jokes, he shouldn't be easily offended if another fellow is repeating jokes 🤷‍♂️

Edit 2:- according to me, you shouldn't be a bhakt or hater of someone, if anything is bad just criticize it and if anything is good appreciate it.

Saw a post on here today debating Balraj's stake in Latent, and since I was bored, I decided to go down a full ROC (Registrar of Companies) rabbit hole to check Samay's financials.

Bummer for me, he just registered the company in March last year, so the FY25-26 filings aren't out yet and we can't see the revenue figures. But while digging, I stumbled onto some way juicier stuff. (FYI, this is all public info; I'm not doxxing anything).

Here is the what I found:

1. Balraj actually doesn't own a piece of Latent. Samay registered a separate entity for it this May, and it's just him and his mom as partners. Since Habitat produces the show, Balraj probably just gets a fat cheque per episode plus rent.

2. Samay’s folks run a company registered in Hyd called Culinary Canvas. Judging by the legal name, it's probably some sort of food, catering, or event gig. Couldn't find much about it.

3. That "Omfit for Parents" shoutout Samay gave on Dostcast wasn't just a random organic bro-plug. Omfit for Parents is an actual separate entity where Omkar and Samay's mom are partners. It was incorporated on Jan 21, 2026, but I checked back and that Dostcast episode was recorded on Dec 5, 2025. That shoutout was a 100% intentional, pre-planned setup for their new brand. I haven't pulled the exact equity split yet, but with Samay's reach, I’d bet his side holds at least 30-50%. A high AOV (average order value) subscription business is literally a money printer and wet dream. I'd not be surprised if he makes crores just out of this.

4. You know all those viral stars blowing up out of Latent this year? If you check their Instagram, most of them are managed by a company called af.live, which turns out to be a talent management company Samay created. So he basically gives them massive exposure through Latent, signs them to his own agency, his team brings them brand partnerships, and he takes a cut. It's a full vertical pipeline for making people famous and then cashing in on it - literally what music labels or Hollywood studios do.

I still remember Samay going independent just before Latent launched, and I always knew he's a smart guy because very few comedians have gone independent in India. But all this shows he is a great businessman overall.
