Audio issue on Samsung s21 FE

What should I do if there's no sound in videos in my gallery and Google Photos, but there is sound in TikTok? On Instagram, the video freezes when I turn on the sound. The same problem occurs with Bluetooth headphones. Reinstalling the OS via csc_home didn't help. Samsung S21 FE

Black and white bars

My Samsung Galaxy A56 shows these black and white bars almost once a day and becomes completely unresponsive. I have to force-restart the phone to get rid of them.

Has anyone else experienced this problem with the A56? If so, did you find a solution?

Samsung A16: ₹15,000 Phone, ₹16,500 Motherboard Repair — Is This Fair?

I want to share my experience with Samsung India so other consumers can make an informed decision before buying.

Around a year ago, I purchased a Samsung Galaxy A16 from Croma for approximately ₹15,000. After just 1 year and 2 months, the phone suddenly stopped working completely. There was no major physical damage or misuse.

I visited an authorized Samsung service centre. After inspecting the device, they told me that the problem was with the motherboard. I asked for the repair cost, and they quoted me ₹16,500. I also received the quotation from them.

This is what shocked me: the phone itself cost me around ₹15,000 when it was new, but Samsung quoted ₹16,500 for replacing one component—the motherboard.

I contacted Samsung India's official customer care and also reached out to them through X (formerly Twitter). After several days of communication, Samsung asked me to submit the device at their service centre. I did so, expecting that they would at least investigate the issue properly.

After more than a month, I was simply told that the device was out of warranty.

I understand that the phone is out of warranty. That is not my main question.

My question is: How can a motherboard replacement cost more than the price of the entire phone when it was purchased new? Why is there no reasonable repair option for a relatively recent device?

I repeatedly asked Samsung to explain this pricing and provide a proper response, but I did not receive a satisfactory explanation through their calls or emails.

I am sharing this experience not to tell anyone what they must buy, but to warn consumers to carefully consider after-sales service and repair costs before purchasing a smartphone. A product being from a major brand does not automatically mean that repairs will be affordable.

Samsung India, if you are reading this, I would genuinely like an answer:

Why does the replacement motherboard cost ₹16,500 when the entire phone originally cost me around ₹15,000?

Please check the repair pricing and give consumers a transparent explanation.

Edit: I have the service-centre quotation and records of my communication with Samsung. I can provide them if required.

Factory reset my phone?? HELP

I'm on the verge of madness, my phone (Samsung A36) takes 3 seconds to load apps, even system apps like settings, it even takes a few seconds to turn on. I've tried practically everything. I freed up storage (out of 128GB, only 53% is being used), RAM (out of 6GB, 3.8GB is being used). I optimize it every day and I've also restarted it. I even changed the animations to 0.5 and turned off battery saver (which they told me makes the processor work less, I don't know how true that is). I think I've tried everything I could. This is my last resort. Do you have any last recommendations?

Samsung Gear 360 (SM-R210) no enciende después de años guardada. ¿Se puede recuperar?

Buenas, chicos.

Unsyncing from Samsung phone

Hi there
I got my mums Samsung to sync to OneDrive yo back up photos but OneDrive is now showing as full and won’t allow her to send/ receive emails.

I want to disconnect the sync and then delete some of the files.

Every set of instructions that Google gives on the AI search within Samsung and OneDrive apps doesn’t work as one of the steps mentioned isn’t there.

Any idea please? This is driving me nuts!
Thanks

**Via Samsung Account Settings**
Open phone **Settings**

Tap **Accounts and backup**

Tap **Manage accounts**

Select your **Samsung account**

Tap **Apps and services**, then **Connected services - THIS is not an option. All my mums phone has is sync account then under General; my profile, about and help**

Remove your **Microsoft account** from the list

**Via the OneDrive App**
Open the **OneDrive** app on your phone

Tap **Me** in the bottom-right corner

Open **Settings**

Tap **Camera backup**

Turn off **Backup** for your camera roll THIS is not an option, on tapping there is just my mums outlook account listed with the blue select dot filled and Confirm as a button below

**Disconnect via the OneDrive App**
Open the **OneDrive** app on your phone.

Tap **Me** in the bottom right corner.

Select **Settings**.

Tap **Gallery Sync** (or **Samsung Photos**). THIS is not listed whatsoever

Choose **Disconnect** or Unlink

Phone dropped in water

I accidentally dropped my phone into water. I took it back as soon as possible. I used freqency sounds to clear the speakers (it worked ig). And theres was water in the sim tray, i got it out and dried it using a towel. And there was water inside the charging port. It wouldn't let me charge for some time. But it got fixed. But still, sometimes when i move the charger, the charging stops and then starts again. Will it fix on its own? And also rn i noticed that there's moisture inside the camera (both front and back). It's all blurry and cant take photos. It it go on its own? Should I get it to service center?

Samsung says my brittle plastic jog button is a "premium part", so apparently it isn't covered under warranty

My Samsung Odyssey OLED G8 is only a few months old and the little plastic OSD jog button has already snapped during normal use.

Samsung’s response was that it isn’t covered because the jog button is a “premium part” and I’d have to pay for the repair.

Premium part.

It’s a tiny piece of brittle plastic.

Thankfully Amazon have been far more helpful and are taking the monitor back.

Apparently the real premium feature of the G8 is the plastic button.

Has anyone else had this issue, and does anyone have any advice on dealing with Samsung over it?

I remember when Samsung were good.

How to restore an archived app, I am stuck.

Hi, so I accidentally archived my whatsapp while tinkering my device, I was trying to check my whatsapp data usage and accidentally clicked the archive button.

I have been trying to actively restore the app for a day now, and its not working and I can't risk uninstalling whatsapp due to important recent texts that i haven't made a backup of yet.

Can anyone please help me?

Thanks.

Edit - SOLVED

So, I downloaded whatsapp directly from its website(thank god they have that option without redirecting it to play store).

And, then manually installed the app which pormpted the installer and thus it got restored

Case vs caseless for base S26

Hi folks,

Need some suggestions from long time S series users.

I have recently switched to S series phone especially S26. I am a primary work from home user with little exposure to heavy outside use.

If i am outside i keep my phone inside my pocket without any other objects.

Need some suggestion if i can use my phone caseless or should i consider a simple transparent case.

Sorry for any grammatical errors

Samsung Account is linked to an email address to which there is no access

I need to reset my phone to factory settings, but I can't do it because my Samsung Account is linked to a Google email address that no longer exists. I need to verify the account via email, which is impossible, and there are no alternative options. I also can't sign out or change the account, as that also requires the email address. Please, help

Samsung Care+ & Servify Loop Nightmares: Sent the wrong Verizon-locked Flip7 TWICE on an unlocked claim. Zero support.

Looking to see if anyone else has dealt with this level of service failure from Samsung Care+ and Servify, or if there's an escalation path I haven’t tried yet.

Here is the quick breakdown of what’s happened:

The Repair: Took my factory-unlocked Galaxy Z Flip7 in for a standard screen repair at an authorized uBreakiFix. During the repair, they damaged the motherboard and outer display, making the phone unusable and requiring a full replacement.

The Replacements (Sent Wrong Phone 2x): Servify processed the replacement claim, but twice in a row they sent mislabeled, Verizon carrier-locked replacement units instead of the factory-unlocked model I paid for and need for my line.

The Customer Service Loop: Every time I call Samsung Care+, they hang up or bounce me back to Servify. When I get through to Servify, they claim they can't issue a proper new device. Neither side will take responsibility, and I am stuck paying for a Care+ subscription for a phone I can't even use.

At this point, I've refused to keep dealing with Servify's phone reps because of the headaches and dropped calls. I am demanding a brand-new, factory-unlocked retail unit directly from Samsung.

Questions:

Has anyone successfully gotten Samsung Corporate to step in and bypass Servify for a direct factory-unlocked replacement after multiple wrong units were sent?

If you filed a BBB complaint or escalated to the Office of the President, how long did it take to hear back from an actual senior case manager?

White line across screen in samsung

It's Samsung m51 from 2021...today I was moving old large videos to a pendrive... suddenly this line formed... didn't dropped the phone on floor before...

I'm using it for 5 years...it's the first issue btw... disclaimer to buddies throwing memes

I need to know...

Will it spread?

What might be the issue?

Does replacing display solve it or will I face it again in future?

Can I still use it for a while long...as it's my secondary phone used for storing datas needed for work...and it still works like new so don't want to shift to new one soon.
