Samsung India denied free screen replacement, how much should i pay for the screen replacement??

So, the last 10 days have been very stressful. A green line came out of nowhere, and Samsung first denied my request for a screen replacement. Then I tweeted on X, after which they asked me to create a job sheet and said they would get it done.

So I contacted the service center, and they asked me to bring the original box and bill with me. (I am currently doing my summer training and am about 150 km away from my house, so one of my friends traveled all the way here to give me the box and the bill.)

On Monday, I gave my phone to the service center. The guy said the phone would stay with them until the repair was done. (As I said earlier, I am currently doing my summer training, so I had to put my SIM card in a guy's phone who is living in the same PG as me, and I had to make all my calls via WhatsApp from my laptop.) ( when the guy sent me the job-sheet he mentioned normal wear-n-tear on one bottom corner of the phone , caused due to reputative sliding on phone cover as a "DENT ON THE METAL FRAME"

Then it was a week of constantly emailing customer support my bill, box images, and literally spending all day waiting for their call. Yesterday, they called and told me that they could not give me a free repair.

Now I am too tired to talk to customer service anymore or wait for my device to get fixed, so I am going to pay for the repair myself and never buy a Samsung again because the experience wasn't what you expect after buying a flagship phone.

I am 19, and this incident alone taught me enough about how much these corporations care about consumers. I literally fought and argued with my father and other family members when buying a Samsung. Everybody suggested I should just buy an iPhone.

Guess they were right after all.

enough ranting from my side , sorry i am just frustrated cuz i used to love my phone so much and took great care of it

so in short -

if anybody here has already replaced there display in India due to a green line, how much did you pay?
and how much should i pay? should i get it done from the authorized service center or some third party shop?also give me any advice regarding this

thanks for reading my rant , link to the post i made when the line came - https://www.reddit.com/r/S23/s/irjRSATd34

Samsung bespoke washer drum paddle removal

Does anyone know how to remove the Samsung bespoke washer drum paddle? There is mold built up inside the paddle, I can see through the holes but can’t really figure out how to take them off. I tied poking through each holes to see if I can find any latch but couldn’t find any. Tried opening the top of the washer if there is any latch access but there is none.

Samsung s21FE keeps restarting and the screen doesn't turn on

It's an old phone, and the battery kinda died, but i want to make it stop turning on and off by itself. I also think I should mention that the back of it bloaded slightly a few weeks ago but it worked fine. Today I decided to glue it back and it had no problems. I left for a few hours and when i came back, the phone wouldn't turn on. I pressed the power button a few times and now it got stuck in this loop

Edit: The phone is completely dead. I took it to a person I know that works with phones and connected it at some device and told me that the battery refuses to charge. Oh well

Help me, I can't log out of my Samsung account.

2 months ago, my sister bought a Samsung Galaxy a17 and I immediately set up a Samsung account and Google. Eventually, my parents asked me to delete the account. I deleted my Google account but forgot to log out/delete my samsung account. Now I can't reset my phone, log out of my account, and use Samsung services. I don't think I can revel in the Google account since it was deleted a month ago, and I don't remember the password for it. To make sure that the phone is mine, I can send a payment receipt.

Why isn't this working?

I have the Samsung S26 Ultra and the Samsung Ultra watch but I can't use all the features, the example shown is one of many of the features I can't use, I used to have the Watch 6 but deleted all previous information from that. I've followed the troubleshooting shooting online. Unpaired them, I've reset the watch, I've updated the app, I've uninstalled and reinstalled, I've deleted previous backups and deleted cache and data. Any idea what else I could've missed? Thanks

Samsung s23 green line on display

I have a mild (hard-to-notice) thin green line in the middle of the screen. I haven't updated it since its purchase, and the phone has no dents or water issues. All of a sudden, it appeared.

The phone was purchased in Chennai (May 2024). Upon calling the service center, they said the cost of the screen is around 12,000 rupees. I always use dark mode, and my wallpaper is also black. But I am sure it is a hardware issue because while checking with *#0*#, the line clearly appears on the green color but is not visible with red and blue for display checking. Kind help as I am not ready to pay 12k. Thank you in advance.

Why isn't my Samsung Note 10 working after this?

Here's the thing, some time ago me and my mom had an argument and she slammed my Samsung Note 10 on the floor (about 19 inches or 50 cm of the floor). And ever since it started to malfunction, it's battery is dead so you need to charge it, then it says that the phone is overheating while it is in about 25 degrees celsius. If you have luck, you can turn it on to the lockscreen but then it says it's overheating while again it is at a low temperature. I've tried asking Gemini, Chat GPT and even Claude! They all have no clue or just glitches out.

If yall can help me, i'd love to, i'll even provide more information and pictures if yall need that. This phone is very important to me so i'll be happy if anybody helped. Thanks for listening.

Samsung s20 fe will not charge after LCD repair

I got my phone repaired a few days ago after I dropped it and the LCD was repaired. Since then, I have had issues with the volume/power buttons not working, and now it is not charging, no matter what cable I use.

Is there anything I can do to fix this? It just stopped working, and I leave for a trip tomorrow morning, so will not have time to get it repaired. Will a touch charger work, or is it completely done?

Can someone please help me with my camera issues?

Starting today my Samsung S23 Ultra camera has completely given up. I didn't drop it, I didn't break it, and I didn't mess with any programs. My camera just keeps saying "Camera failed." I've cleared cache, cleared data, force stopped, reset my phone, reset camera settings, and run diagnostics (though not in that order). Nothing has worked. My phone is less than a year old and was bought brand new. I've got some cracks on the back, but nothing that seems to have caused this issue. It was completely fine yesterday and now I'm so confused.

Edit: I also haven't found any "conflicting software." I'm not sure if that refers to viruses or apps that also use the camera, but I know I dont have any viruses. And as for apps that also use the camera, I have very few. I don't use most social media (I really only have Reddit, Tiktok, and Facebook installed on my phone but I hardly ever post).

Edit 2: So it's the back camera that's the problem. I have figured out that I can use the front camera if I go through Google messages. I think that's why the camera app wont work; the main camera is disconnected or just not functioning. Still no idea how I could possibly fix this. Also discovered a small chip next to one of the cameras, but it's not deep or affecting the camera at least at surface level. I have no idea what to do, I go on vacation in a little less than 4 days.

T7 SSD is Junk - Don’t Buy

So when I got my T7 ssd, I wrote the password down in two (2) different locations because they said if I forget it they can’t help. Well now, a year later after plenty of use with no problems, it says my password is invalid!!!!! WTF???!!!!
I’ve confirmed the password from both locations and it’s the right one!!!!
Samsung customer care said sorry, we can help you return it to factory new but you’ll Lose ALL your data!!!!!
This sucks and they must think I’m stupid to suggest I reset, lose all data, and use it again!!!!

Samsung store gave me a different phone than the one I agreed to buy. What should I do?

I went to a Samsung store in Koparkhairane to buy a Galaxy M17 (6GB/128GB). I paid ₹17,300 (including the charger).

I bought it as a gift for my mom, so I didn't open it until the next day. While setting it up, I checked About Phone and found it was actually a Galaxy F70 5G (6GB/128GB).

I immediately went back to the store. They said they had informed me about the change, but they never did. Now they're refusing to replace or refund it, saying both phones have the same price and features.

I'm planning to file a consumer complaint and post about this on X.

Has anyone faced something similar? What should I do? Can I get a replacement or refund?
