The Same Billionaire Who Bought Kevin Mullin's of district CA-15 Silence Is Spending $30 Million Today to Silence Thomas Massie the Congressman Asking Epstein Questions

I'm a constituent of CA-15. I have called his office. I have emailed. I have asked him to make a statement about the bombing of Lebanese civilian infrastructure. I have asked him to address the documented killing of civilians in Gaza. I have asked him to acknowledge that the donors who financed his 2022 election are now subjects of a Senate Finance Committee investigation and a federal securities class action. Palestinian community members in San Mateo County asked to meet with him. He declined.

Here is what the public record actually shows about who Kevin Mullin works for. Every number below is verifiable at FEC.gov.

The PACs that financed his election:

United Democracy Project (FEC ID: C00744946) — AIPAC's super PAC — spent $588,767 in independent expenditures supporting Mullin's 2022 general election. AIPAC PAC (FEC ID: C00052787) made a direct contribution of $7,900. Democratic Majority for Israel PAC (DMFI PAC, FEC ID: C00747618) endorsed Mullin in March 2022 and made independent expenditures on his behalf. AIPAC's own spokesperson confirmed the relationship publicly, stating the organization was "proud to endorse and back Kevin Mullin because of his demonstrated support for the U.S.-Israel relationship." That quote is from the Jewish Weekly, November 19, 2022. You can look it up.

The individual donors who funded United Democracy Project in the 2022 cycle — all disclosed in FEC filings — include Paul Singer of Elliott Management ($1 million), Bernard Marcus of Home Depot ($1 million), Haim Saban ($1 million), Jan Koum of WhatsApp ($2 million), and Jonathon Jacobson of HighSage Ventures ($1 million). In the 2024 cycle, Marc Rowan of Apollo Global Management contributed $250,000 to AIPAC-affiliated groups including UDP.

Total documented pro-Israel PAC and independent expenditure support for Mullin across both cycles: $732,366. Source: TrackAIPAC, which pulls directly from FEC.gov filings.

Two of those donors are now subjects of serious federal scrutiny.

Marc Rowan, CEO of Apollo Global Management, contributed $250,000 to AIPAC-affiliated groups including United Democracy Project. DOJ-released EFTA documents — searchable at justice.gov/epstein — show Rowan had at least five scheduled in-person meetings with Jeffrey Epstein after Epstein's 2008 sex offender conviction. EFTA document EFTA01961770 is Rowan's own email listing his personal availability for Epstein meetings. EFTA02130554 confirms a meeting at Epstein's Manhattan townhouse in September 2013 — five years after Epstein was a convicted sex offender. Apollo publicly denied any Epstein business relationship in a client letter dated February 18, 2026. That denial is now the basis of a federal securities class action: Perez v. Apollo Global Management, Inc., et al., No. 1:26-cv-03550, filed in the Southern District of New York on April 29, 2026, alleging those denials were materially false statements in SEC filings that Rowan personally certified under Sarbanes-Oxley. Kevin Mullin has issued no public statement about any of this.

Paul Singer of Elliott Management gave $1 million to United Democracy Project (FEC C00744946) in the 2022 cycle — the same cycle that PAC spent $588,767 electing Mullin. Singer simultaneously gave $1 million to MAGA KY PAC (FEC C00878708), the super PAC that spent nearly $12 million trying to remove Rep. Thomas Massie — the Kentucky congressman who forced congressional votes on the Epstein Files Transparency Act and who named these donors by name in public statements. Rep. Massie stated publicly: "Within hours of the Epstein file release, a super PAC funded by Israel-first billionaires Miriam Adelson, Paul Singer, and John Paulson — who himself appears in Epstein's black book — bought another $800,000 of TV ads against me." That quote is from The Hill, January 31, 2026. Same donor. One PAC elects Mullin. One PAC targets the congressman asking accountability questions. Kevin Mullin has said nothing.

The committee conflict no one is talking about:

Mullin sits on the House Energy and Commerce Committee, including its Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee — the subcommittee with direct jurisdiction over pharmaceutical industry conduct. According to FEC filings, he accepted $5,000 from Gilead Sciences Healthcare Policy PAC in March 2025. One month later, on April 29, 2025, the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York announced a $202 million civil fraud settlement with Gilead Sciences, finding that from 2011 to 2017 the company paid 548 healthcare providers more than $23.7 million in illegal kickbacks — honoraria, meals, and travel to luxury destinations — to induce them to prescribe Gilead's HIV drugs, resulting in false claims submitted to Medicare and Medicaid. A coalition of 49 attorneys general participated in the settlement. Source: HHS Office of Inspector General announcement, April 30, 2025. Between 140,000 and 170,000 people in CA-15 are enrolled in Medi-Cal. They are the people whose healthcare program Gilead defrauded. Their congressman accepted Gilead's PAC money one month before the settlement was announced and has made no public statement about it.

He also accepted $5,000 from Blue Shield of California PAC and $4,711 from PG&E Corporation Employees EnergyPAC in the current cycle, per FEC filings. San Mateo County has some of the highest healthcare premiums and utility rates in California.

The voting record:

AJP Action grades Mullin F with a 27% score based on verified House Clerk records. He voted yes on H.R.8034, the Israel Security Supplemental Appropriations Act providing approximately $17 billion in military assistance to Israel (April 20, 2024). He voted to cut UNRWA funding (March 22, 2024). He voted yes on H.Res.883 declaring the phrase "from the river to the sea" antisemitic (April 16, 2024). He declined to sign the Bilateral Ceasefire Letter (November 17, 2023), the letter urging a shift in military strategy to reduce civilian casualties (January 26, 2024), the World Central Kitchen accountability letter (April 16, 2024), and the Biden Administration Weapon Transfer Compliance Letter (October 16, 2023) — letters that dozens of his Democratic colleagues signed.

The attendance:

According to GovTrack, Mullin has missed 116 of 1,758 roll call votes from January 2023 through April 2026 — a miss rate of 6.6%, more than three times worse than the congressional median of 2.1%.

The silence:

His neighbor Rep. Ro Khanna, representing CA-17 directly next door, co-sponsored the Epstein Files Transparency Act with Rep. Thomas Massie and appeared on Democracy Now! to discuss financial suppression of the files. Kevin Mullin voted yes on the Epstein Files Transparency Act when 426 other members did the same. He has issued zero public statements about Marc Rowan's documented EFTA appearances, the Senate Finance Committee's investigation of Leon Black as Epstein's primary financier, the USVI settlement finding that Black's money funded Epstein's trafficking operations, the federal securities class action against Apollo, or Paul Singer's dual PAC spending. I contacted his office asking him to address these connections. No response.

I am endorsing Anthony Dang for the June 2 primary.

He is a disabled Marine combat veteran. His brother Andrew was killed in Ramadi, Iraq in 2004. He enlisted the day after. He deployed, was shot in the back, survived two IED blasts, and came home. He went to community college, then UC San Diego, then Harvard, where he earned a Master's in Public Administration. He worked at the Pentagon, witnessed waste and fraud on taxpayer-funded defense programs, reported it, and was fired for it. He is raising a son with special needs. He takes zero corporate PAC money — zero contributions from United Democracy Project, zero from Gilead Sciences PAC, zero from Blue Shield PAC, zero from PG&E EnergyPAC, zero from the donor infrastructure described above. He will respond to constituents. He will show up.

The primary is June 2. This is a top-two primary — every vote counts. CA-15 deserves a representative who works for the people who live here.

College of San Mateo 1963 vs Now

I've always loved the idea of historic rephotography. During the research for my College of San Mateo project I found some old photos that let me attempt it.

Here is one set: Building 16 in 1963 and now (and yes, the building changed from North Hall to Central Hall because another building was built north of it)

If you didn't see my original post, more info about my project is here: https://www.docomomo-noca.org/features/2026/4/24/warnecke-csm

I'm Anthony Dang running for Congress CA-15 AMA

I'm Anthony Dang, running for Congress in CA-15. I grew up in Foster City and still live nearby in Belmont. My dad came to this country as a Vietnam War refugee with nothing, and my mom is permanently disabled and lives in assisted living. My brother Andrew was killed in Ramadi in 2004, and I enlisted in the Marines the day after he died, deployed to Iraq, and was wounded. After that I worked my way from community college to UCSD to a Harvard MPA, then spent years at the Pentagon as a management and program analyst doing oversight on major programs. When I left, I blew the whistle on fraud at a defense contractor, and the retaliation cost me my career, which More Perfect Union covered in their exposé on waste in the defense industry. I'm running because I've watched this system fail my family and working people across our district, and I'm doing it grassroots only with no corporate PACs and no super PACs. Happy to take whatever questions you've got.

Chem trails

I’m so upset that I never see a pure blue sky anymore. This is from yesterday. The sky was full of X’s. Suddenly even more chem trails because it’s May and it’s beautiful weather here, everyone wants to go out, so of course they are spraying the sky. To add to the injury, the grass at my favorite park for walks was clearly sprayed. I was going to sit and ground on the grass, but I couldn’t do that. Made me feel so angry and powerless to not be able to enjoy nature and truly connect like we’re supposed to. Poisons in the sky, poisons on the ground. I also keep thinking about how if we all stood up and rioted, they couldn’t keep doing this to us, but most people don’t know what’s going on, and there’s no organized effort. There is no real pushback that the elected officials end this.

Honoring Mothers and the Quiet Work of Building Humanity

Today, we want to take a moment to honor all mothers around the world, including the Sisters of our Lodge who balance motherhood with their Masonic journey.

Motherhood is one of the most important and often underappreciated forms of human labor. Through patience, sacrifice, wisdom, and love, mothers help shape not only their families, but the future itself. They are often our first teachers, showing us compassion, integrity, responsibility, and the courage to think for ourselves.

In Liberal Freemasonry, also known as mixed-gender or co-ed Freemasonry, we believe that every person has the capacity to grow, to learn, and to contribute to the betterment of humanity. Mothers embody this work every day by nurturing curious minds, strengthening families, and helping raise thoughtful and caring human beings.

We are especially grateful to the Sisters of Pacific Moon Lodge who unite the responsibilities of motherhood with a commitment to personal growth, service, and the continual improvement of self and society.

To all mothers everywhere, thank you for the quiet and essential work you do in building a better world.

Happy Mother's Day.
