More bullsh*t land banking

This lot on Pacific between 13th and 14th has been empty for at least 5 years.
No penalties to the owner who just lets it go year after year, waiting for the right offer which never comes.
I the meantime the rest of the neighborhood continues to decline as more and more of these lots stay vacant for years.

How long are we supposed to stare at this sh*t

This is the site of the old courthouse downtown.

Torn down 2 years ago, vacant 10.
There’s empty lots like this all around SP.
There should be escalating penalties for vacant lots for each year that development doesn’t occur as planned?

Funeral Donation Scams

I see a lot of people giving money to the scammers on 1st & Gaffey. That's a grift 99% of the time, legitimate grieving families do not solicit money by standing in traffic. PSA.

DIY Music Fest this weekend!

Anybody going to the Sardine this Saturday? Love, Emo fights the pay to play system and believes in supporting bands, not corporations! They’re giving out free rub on tats at the door too!

Looking for Singer Sewing Machine repair

Hi! My family acquired an old Singer sewing machine, and I’d really like to get it up and working. Any recommendations on a repair shop or repair person within 30 or so miles?

I’ve always wanted one of these, and it looks similar to my grandmas! I’d love to get it up and running so I can get crafting!

Spotted loose Border Collie near point fermin

Seems dirty and scared, not sure how long it's been out. We tried luring it with food but it was too skittish for us to catch. If you are looking for this dog, I hope you get reunited soon

Dnd

Hi i am desperately on the hunt for people to play dnd with. I tried the dnd finder on facebook but kept finding groups that want you to pay to play and i fr can't do that. My first and last campaign i played was last year and the DM was my ex who moved away. I tried to DM myself but would like to find people to play with either with myself as a DM or as a player.

Some things ab me:
I am 22 F
Live in San Pedro
My character is a level 7 (idk to be exact) druid and I am new to playing/dming (i did it once then the group fell apart)

I can bring two people to play along with myself if like 2 others want to play.

PLEASE 🙏

new friends in general are also welcome
