Also sharing with you the place I picked them and find myself tripping in right now. I ate maybe six or so, so the mental filters are present still. But feeling a lot of LOVE for the trees here, which I'm hugging.

Getting caught

Hello, I've recently gotten interested in trying hunting for liberty caps and pan cinctulus but have been wondering about how likely is it to get caught. In Lithuania we have very strict laws regarding any kinds of drugs which also includes psilocybin. I am a bit paranoid as punishments here are severe and we don't have a lot of big and open pastures like in the UK, Ireland, Norway, etc. which means it's harder to stay far away from houses and farmers. Does anyone have some wisdom regarding this?

Does Psilocybe Semilanceata grow exclusively on acidic soil?

I was researching a bit about the species, looking for the spot near my location where I might end up encountering it. I ended up with following criteria:

  1. Low-growing vegetation

  2. Pasture or meadow grazed by cows or sheep without a lot of trees nearby

  3. Land uncultivated by humans

  4. Terrain that is close to some kind of stream or river

  5. Higher altitude

Now, I live in Vojvodina and based on my geolocation alone, not all the criteria from above can be easily fulfilled. Next to this, soil type in Vojvodina is mostly alkaline or neutral. Is there still a chance I might find this species on non-acidic soil or is the soil type another criteria that must be fulfilled?

Found something in Scotland highlands near Castle

Could these be libs? I don't think so personally. There is no tit on the cap and they appear more flat + stem is shorter and weaker, wavy tho? I know there can be a less potent kind of these too, can it be them?

Additional information:

A field with sheep and sheep poo everywhere + plus that tall grass that is an indicator of acid ground.

Found today 15.08.2026. Can I eat them?

Thoughts on forthcoming season UK

Hello, I've been thinking what kind of season we might have and also trying to manifest a long autumn to match this drought summer.. I try :) lol

Without jinxing it too much, do you think this is going to be a super short season or a much longer one lasting well into November?

thanks ❤️

Guess which two are not libs!

The season has started all over Norway, and today I found these. But! Two of them are not our beloved magic mushroom.

Guess which two are incorrect. Make a guess in the comments, then check the spoiler afterwards.

Was it easy?
