That Look in Daisy's Eyes

She learned I was a sucker for that look when she hears that it is prime rib night. 🥩

Best chew toys for teething

My 9 week old puppy loves chewing! I purchased a "durable" leather chew... he was able to rip it up within 5 minutes (the product was just bad, he isnt THAT crazy with chewing).

So now I have trust issues with products for him. Please rave me your shichons fave chews!

He's got that regal attitude, but jokes on us like he's a court jester

Adding a new puppy two years after last one.

So I have a wonderful 2 year old Shichon I got when she was 9 weeks old. She has been a very good dog overall and I would like to get her a playmate. House-breaking her was a little challenging but we got there. Haha.

Ideally, I would want the same breed and age but it is next to impossible to find one so I am looking at the puppies. There are a couple options I am looking at shortly. (Please don’t suggest rescues. I have been looking for quite awhile now and there just aren’t any Shichon rescue dogs near me and I don’t want a different dog.)

My question is this: is it easier to train a new puppy when you already have a slightly older dog who can help show them/demonstrate the things like house-breaking and social interactions/behaviors with people, kids and other dogs? I am a little anxious about doing the whole puppy training process again but I know it must be done.
