You've gotta love how Sierra games were wholesome on the surface with unnecessarily explicit death sequences for every single wrong turn... What was your most traumatic Sierra experience as a child?

I’ve wondered all my life: what is that thing on the bridge troll’s head?! Is he wearing some sort of cap? Maybe a nightcap, like Scrooge?

It can’t be a horn, there’s only one of them and it always dangles to one side or the other. So what IS it??!

Laura Bow: The Dagger of Amon Ra (Pippin's Body)

Played this game as a kid back in the 2000s and wanted to double check this was still here. The worst (or best) part is you can't bring up Pippin's body to anyone in the game, so unless you get the good ending (which specifically states that he was laid to rest in Egypt), I always assumed he was just left there.

also a fun fact, he will haunt Laura Bow for the rest of her (short) life in you don't get the good ending, AKA find the dagger and solve all the murders.

The end of EcoQuest got me emotional enough as a kid, but knowing what happened to Delphineus’s voice actress (she was bipolar and died of an overdose in her 20s) it feels so much sadder.

Nintendo 64 'Dreamteam': Sierra and Dynamix

Circa 1995 press releases on Nintendo's American 'Dreamteam' seemingly always list Sierra On-line. The only confirmed title I saw was Red Baron, with the title possibly boosting Nintendo's conceived modem gaming network.

Was Dynamix interested in Project Reality? I know Nintendo recruited Dallas based Paradigm for Pilotwings 64, so my hunch would be the platform appealed to Dynamix as they worked so much on simulations - but it seems all articles go "Nintendo wants sierra for online play" angle

Sierra-like Games on Steam?

Howdy! So, I saw that an 80s-inspired point-and-click game, Nerdy Quest, is releasing on Steam today, and it made me wonder: are there other Sierra-like games on Steam that folks recommend?
