Rough Trade had an image of a vinyl release for The Lion and The Cobra on their website for RSD Black Friday but it wasn’t listed with the rest of the releases. This could possibly be coming in the future?
It’s mistakenly listed as “The Lion and The Serpent” so maybe this was just a huge mistake?
All of Sinead’s RSD releases have been on clear vinyl though so hopefully this is actually coming!
Obviously our lovely Sinead has enchanted many boyfriends, lovers and husbands over the years, but I always felt like she was most head over heels in love with him of all the men in her life. I watched some of the concerts where she went on tour with him and you can clearly see how smitten she is. But in the same concerts he practically ignores her, seems disinterested and sometimes annoyed by her presence. I don't recall if he was married or separated when they had their relationship/went on this tour together, but it seems like he kind of led her on and then broke her heart in the most cruel way. It really makes me dislike and disrespect him. I will never understand how anyone could intentionally hurt such a beautiful gentle loving soul. Do you think she loved him the most? What do you think of how he treated her?
