Do I need to lose weight or build more muscle, or both?

Just as the title states, I’d like some advice! I’m currently 5’10, 62kg and eating about 1600-1700 a day.

How to lose belly fat and grow lower body

My body type is top heavy, so I have big boobs and a bigger stomach and slim legs with no butt. How do I get the bottom heavy bodytype? Supplements?

is it obvious that i gained fat? should i cut/maintain?

5'1 went from 115lbs to \~118 ish after over-eating the last few months. some of it might be muscle as i lift somewhat consistently. is it visible? i hate dieting so wondering if its worth trying to lose or if i should just live life, but i don't feel super confident

ma perte de poids

Je partage sur mon ig mon quotidien qui m’a permis de passer de skinny fat à skinny

19F

5'2, somewhere around 114lbs but I feel as though I appear kinda "squishy" if that makes sense. Most days I eat at a slight deficit or maintenance, and my only exercise at the moment has been walking 10k steps a day. Also don't mind the awful burn/tan lines in the last pic lol!

Stuck at skinny fat. What am I doing wrong?

Hi! I’ve been going back and forth with a calorie deficit for about 10 months now. I feel like I’ve made a little progress, but not as much as I should have if I’d done it right.

I don’t want to waste more time, and I’m seriously tired of tracking everything. I started at 62kg and I’m now around 57kg, but I still feel skinny fat. I can see some definition when I flex my arms, but the loose fat is still there, especially around my belly.

What I’ve been doing:
Working out 4-5x a week and making sure I progress
Very little cardio: twice a week, 10 min on the stairmaster. I used to do light boxing and jump rope once a week
Started hitting 10k steps daily a few weeks ago
Cycling between calorie deficit, diet break, then back to deficit
Consistently hitting daily protein even on diet breaks
Cut refined sugar and dropped my morning coffee because it was making me bloated
Sleeping 6-7 hours on average, sometimes 8. That’s all I can manage as a solo parent
Trying to eat mostly whole foods and less fried stuff

My mind is playing tricks on me. I’m still frustrated, or maybe I just need to accept that it takes more time.

One more thing: I can’t decide if I should stay in a calorie deficit or if it’s actually making things worse. I’m tired of tracking food, but at this point I have a rough idea of what and how much to eat without it.

If anyone’s been through this, I’d really appreciate some advice.

underweight but huge thighs?

i’m currently one pound above being double digits, but my thighs still always look huge and fat. what do i need to do to achieve actual lean legs? i feel like a huge monster and keep restricting calories more and more, i know the hip dips and fat distribution and everything are genetics- but surely once i reach a certain point they’ll look like the inspo pics? is it muscle because i work on my feet? im scared of working out more for them just to get bigger. is it lipidema? any similar build find a solution??

fixing a skinny fat physique with just diet?

Hi! I’m 21F with a BMI of 19. I’m pretty thin, but I have a high body fat percentage because I’ve never been very physically active. With summer coming up, I’ve been feeling a bit insecure about my body and I was wondering if it’s possible to improve my physique through diet and walking alone.

By diet, I mean a high-protein, high-fiber, whole-food-focused diet with a slight calorie deficit, plus walking around 10–15k steps a day.

I’m really not into exercise or sports. I’ve tried getting into them before, but I can never stay consistent. I also struggle with body acne that gets worse from sweating during workouts, so I’d prefer to avoid creating another thing to feel insecure about.

Advice on working towards my unique goal body

Hi everyone. I’m in my mid-20s (M) and aiming for a lean, skinny, and slightly toned physique. The past advice that I've gotten online after asking around and researching myself has focused nearly entirely on bulking up everything, which isn't my goal. Respect to the bulked look, but I’m specifically looking for tailored fitness tips to achieve a slender, defined aesthetic instead. I've been told the body type im trying to achieve is called a "Twink" or "Twunk" body type, which actually does seem accurate. If I had to describe the body type I want beyond just those words I'd say I want clean muscle definition without the bulk, similar to a swimmers build but a bit less I suppose? My chest muscles and arm muscles are basically the only ones I want any more significant growth on, and I don't actually want abs (thought I do want the stomach line that goes down, I believe it's called the ab linea? which I am slightly developing so far!).

To save everyone some typing on health advice: I’m already on a great track and have healthily lost ~26kg this past year and a half via a (mostly) clean diet and calorie deficit. I've passed my weight goal already by a bit but as I still have some stubborn belly fat I'm still working on losing just a bit more weight while I do this. I'm really only looking for advice regarding 2 main things; Changing the schedule of my workouts to better suit my time and needs, and about exchanging and adding some new exercises based on my body type goal. Sadly, I learned that I cant upload images here so I uploaded 2 images on postimages that explains stuff with pics and tables via screenshots of a PowerPoint I made, thank you in advance I really appreciate any insight or advice you all have for me.

Need Advice: Skinny Fat at 23, Best Way to Build an Aesthetic Body?

I’m 23 years old, 170 cm tall, and weigh 75.5 kg. I’ve been working a desk job for the past year. I’ve had a skinny-fat body type since I was around 16; before that, I was just skinny. Over time, my condition has gotten worse.

What should I focus on now — cutting or body recomposition? Also, based on my current body structure, do you think achieving a V-taper physique is realistic? Are my shoulders and waist proportions decent/good for it?

Am I skinny fat?

What's the verdict...? Gained a bunch of weight from the last pic in December to now (first few pics) I'm planning on going to a doctor because of how fast I gained 30 pounds

Only eating home cooked meals.
tbh I can't see any progress, little discouraged.

need motivation or helpful advice.
