I am going to start backpacking soon, and I need some new earbuds. I'm looking for something durable and with amazing sound quality, a strong bass, and long battery life. I've heard Skullcandy is the best bang for your buck so i wanted to see what you guys have to say.
So ive been using 2 earbuds for about 3weeks now. 1 smokin buds 360 that i bought. 2 onn mini buds that my bro gave to me. To keep the review short the onn earbuds are just better every way. Crazy how they are only $10 buck while the smokin buds are $15(discounted). Sometimes a brand doesnt mean shit.

Cons- audio lag
-case is to big
-left earbud sometimes disconnects when working out.
-sound quality
-touch controls are everywhere
-takes awhile to charge
Onn mini earbuds
Pros-cheap
-very comfortable in ear
-sound quality is amazing for the budget
-no audio lag, and no random disconnects
-case is small asf
-touch controls(there's not many) but are accurate to the touch
-charge fast
Cons-short battery time
-tiny(i like small earbuds but i know that can be a con for other people)
I’ve had my evos for awhile and I love them to death but recently the discoloration on the headband is getting under my skin a little bit, is there anything I can do about it or should I just ride em til they die.

I've owned them for 2 amazing years through rain, snow, and heat. There are many things that i love about them such as:
- The bass (duh)
- Battery life
-Comfort
- Microphone quality
Over the years they've been abused but still sound good, like super good. But there are some things that i cannot just tape up., such as the crusher bass which is out in the left ear and the battery that only lasts 10 minutes. Other than that they are wonderful, I'd honestly rate them 9/10.
I'm very familiar with skull candy as I've owned Hesh Evo, Crusher Evo, and Now ANC 2. I'm looking for something that will give me better quality, anc, and alright bass (you cant compare to crusher bass). I've already done some window shopping for headphones like the Heavy H1h (hell no) and Sony Xm4.
My options are:
1: Frankenstein a 9v battery into these headphones
2: Buy some new Headphones (most likely used) for under $300
3: 3d print and design my own headphones
I'm leaning towards 2 mostly so if anyone knows of any good, fun headphones that can take a beating, please let me know. Thanks for you time
