Any chance for restoring these otherwise-new pitch black Skechers?

I was told that our planned walk was "an ultra-easy, fully paved walk through a greenhouse".

Turned out, it was a 3-mile dirt path hike through an outdoor desert landscape. They got covered in dusty dirt. I tried a leaf blower, and banging them together, to no avail.

Another me would have just replaced them, but that's not something I can afford to do, and these were my only non "running shoe" or "work boot"-looking shoes.

Any chance for restoring these otherwise-new pitch black sneakers?

These are the "Skechers Slip-ins: Arch Fit Arcade - See Ya There"

The website says they are "machine washable" on the product page, but in the Q&A below it, all of the responses say they aren't.

The description also says "removeable insole", but it didn't feel like it was going to come out without a fight.

How do I get rid of this

I went hiking on some pretty rough trails and got most of the mud and dirt off of the shoes, but I’m having a tough time getting whatever this is out. It seems like it’s a liquid of some sorts. Doesn’t seem to be just dirt. Any ideas?

Rettungsversuch

Safe to put asic Kayano 14 in washing machine?

I have a pair of Kayano 14s that are dirty and I wanted to throw them in the washing machine but I’ve read it can ruin the gel insole and was asking is it true? If so, is my best option giving them to a professional?

Cleaning recommendations

I know I’m a bastard for letting my trainers reach this bad a state. I am sorry. Truly…

I see a lot of different recommendations for cleaning and wanted a take. What I should use and for what area etc. I figured this would be a good place to get opinions. Maybe looking to whiten the midsoles too. Thanks in advance.

Best way to handle this?

I got these for my 7yr old son from a reseller platform and I bought them knowing they had these stains. They were stupid cheap so thought id surely be able to clean em up. I haven't cleaned any 4s before and definitely dont want to damage the bright yellow color so thought id check with those who have better knowledge for this area. So far ive oy used one of those eraser brush things. I have no idea what the stain is either.
