Even though it makes sense why this scene got cut, I wish it didn't because it really humanizes Stu's character

With Stu recently being cut from the pure evil wiki, I've seen a lot of people complaining and saying how "he literally killed just for fun, he absolutely is a complete monster" but this scene from the script would've shown he wasn't lying. Stu really was insecure af and I do think he was partly motivated by hsi friendship with Billy. We know he lied about dumping Casey for Tatum, so it'd totally make sense if Billy used his insecurities to rope him along (still a sadistic psycho though)

What are your thoughts on this scene in Scream 7?

I like this scene a lot, and I got chills when Ghostface was chasing Sidney (again) and Tatum after knocking out Mark. The lighting, the fighting, the score, everything was so amazing. The wall scene was phenomenal, too!

Mark also proved that he wasn’t a cop like all the others. He knew how to fight. 💯💯

tier list of scream movies

I watched scream movies before the 5 so I'm an og (lmaoo I watch them like 2 months before the release of scream 5 but I guess it counts) so my opinion is superior to the new gens)

also sam carpenter is more iconic than sidney, even if I prefer the sidney movies, sam has more charisma and personality and is more interesting.

scream 7 should be about her but anyway sam is not canon because wes craven died after scream 4 so why do they still do other movies even after the death of the main director, it's disrespectful, it was his movies. and they butcher the franchise by making shit movies especially the scream 6 and 7 ones.

Richie & Amber are good killers but their motives are weak AF, can we agree?

Richie kirsch and Amber freeman are good ghostfaces but they have the weakest motives I’ve seen from a ghostface in a minute.

why no one remembers about how Gale was thrilled and excited about teenagers being killed and put a hidden camera in stu house to see the spectacle ?

and her doing the flash news right before getting stab because of how fame seeking she is, like it was so obvious she wouldn't get a redemption arc, she acted like a sociopath in scream 1.

Scream 5 discussion.

Watching scream 5 again I have to say it was the best “newer” scream movie they’ve made even counting scream 4. It was an amazing re entry into the series. 6 was eh and 7 was pretty good I was pleasantly surprised except for Sidney’s daughter the actress that played her was kinda blah. Also did anyone else notice how much better Courtney Cox looked in 7 compared to 6?!? She looked soo plastic in 6 it was jarring.

What would be your own personal backstory of Amber Freeman?

As for why she was the way she was at only 17-18, what her childhood must have been like, why she decided to become a mass murderer, and what not. Secondary characters usually don't get as much fleshing out of their backstory, but yeah.

Recently I Learned About Jonathan Craven

So this is Jonathan Craven. He’s the son Wes Craven, the original creator of the Scream movies.

He’s something of a filmmaker himself. He coproduced a remake of his father’s film The Last House on the Left. He also wrote and coproduced the sequel to the remake of The Hills Have Eyes alongside his father Wes.

This is all to say that they should give Jonathan Craven a shot at writing and/or directing a Scream film, preferably Scream 8. With the next films likely focusing on Sidney’s daughter Tatum, it seems rather apropos to have the son of the original films’ creator involved.

Perhaps hopefully acuity with horror films is in the blood, kind of like with David Cronenberg’s son Brandon Cronenberg.
