Word is circulating from people claiming to have seen the opening scene for Avengers: Doomsday, and if accurate, it sounds like an absolute theater-erupting moment.

The film reportedly kicks off right in Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man universe just as Doctor Doom’s Incursions begin tearing that reality apart. It is described as a relentless, action-heavy sequence featuring Wolverine and Deadpool arriving on the scene while alternate realities literally collide in the background.

Those who allegedly saw the footage claim audiences are going to completely lose their minds, especially if Tobey Maguire and Hugh Jackman share the screen right off the bat. If this holds true, Marvel is not wasting any time easing into the cosmic stakes.
