Do you think Farrah is eating off of Independent Women Part 1? Farrah’s vocals are featured on the group’s single “Independent Women Part I” which peaked at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart following her departure

I also think it’s crazy how everything worked out with Farrah leaving the group because Charlie’s Angels only featured three angels and it was perfect for Destiny’s Child becoming three after Farrah leaving for the music video. I wonder what they would have done hadn’t she left.

Edit: I would like to add 8 Days of Christmas too! Apparently her vocals are on their Christmas album too and 8 Days of Christmas was a hit.

LaTavia’s verse was everything! I wish we got more solo verses from LaTavia and LeToya! I feel like in an alternate universe we probably would’ve had verses from all four eventually! Especially since they all could sing.

Thoughts? Do you think we would’ve gotten solo verses from all of them?

Apparently "Check On It" was technically a Destiny’s Child song first

So even though it’s a "Beyoncé" song, it was first released on the Destiny’s Child #1's Greatest Hits album in 2005. It was literally used as one of the "new" tracks to promote the group's legacy. At the beginning of the track, Slim Thug literally shouts out "Slim Thug and DC out of H-Town!" He’s calling out the whole group, not just Bey. There’s a long-running rumor/theory that Kelly Rowland actually recorded background vocals for the track. If you listen closely to the second verse, you can hear textures that sound way more like Kelly’s tone than Bey’s. It was supposed to be on the Pink Panther soundtrack, but it didn't make the cut, so it got "gifted" to the DC compilation to help boost sales after "Stand Up for Love" didn't chart well.

Did you know this?
