Loving this Old School Vibe

Glad the cast is keeping it fresh and fun together.

Hope they bring a little bit more of this to the screen

What I Wouldn't Give If We Could Re-create This MAGIC!!! ✨

They really don't make them better than Lennie Briscoe and Anita Van Buren. GOAT

This brief exchange highlights everything that is missing from the current version of Law and Order Look at that level camaraderie. Look at them playing cards and quoting poetry in the middle of a stakeout and legit seeming to enjoy each other's company. CLASSIC

Bell Biv Divoe - Poison (Just for Fun But This Got me Dancing)

Always a treat to watch Norah Yarah and Rosa dance, even if it's just for fun.

This time, it's to monster hit Poison.

This definitely got me grooving.

Love the old school throwbacks.

That turn was insanely smooth.

The water backdrop is just perfect.

Just makes me smile.

The legendary Janet Jackson turns 60 today

Five-time Grammy-winner and music icon Janet Jackson turns 60 today, marking another milestone in a career that has reshaped popular music, performance, and visual storytelling for decades.

From the outset, Jackson distinguished herself not only as a singer, but as a visionary artist unafraid to engage with themes of social justice, inequality, and collective responsibility. The first glimpse of her artistic brilliance could already be seen on the 1986 album Control, where she decisively broke free from the constraints of others—including her own Jackson family—and announced to the world that she would make music on her own terms. Her 1989 breakthrough Rhythm Nation 1814 remains a defining statement in pop music history, blending socially conscious lyricism with tightly choreographed, cinematic visuals that continue to influence artists across genres.

Beyond her message-driven work, Jackson has long been recognized as one of the most dynamic performers of her generation. Her music videos set new standards for precision, style, and narrative execution, with choreography that seamlessly extends the emotional and thematic weight of her songs. This fusion of movement and music helped establish her as a benchmark for modern pop performance.

With the release of her 1993 self-titled album janet., Jackson embraced a more personal and sensual artistic expression, expanding the scope of her public identity and becoming an advocate for sexual freedom in art. The album produced the enduring hit “That’s the Way Love Goes,” which spent eight weeks atop the Billboard Hot 100 and became one of her signature songs.

She continued to evolve artistically with The Velvet Rope (1997), widely regarded as one of her most ambitious and introspective works and her magnum opus. Addressing themes of mental health, identity, and emotional vulnerability, the album includes the uplifting single “Together Again,” a tribute inspired by loss and remembrance during the AIDS crisis.

Jackson carried her momentum into the new millennium with All for You (2001), further solidifying her commercial dominance. The album’s title track became her tenth No. 1 single on the Billboard Hot 100, reinforcing her status as one of the most successful artists in chart history.

Across decades of work, Janet Jackson has built a catalog defined by innovation, emotional depth, and cultural impact. Her influence spans music, dance, and visual media, securing her legacy as one of the most important figures in contemporary pop culture. What is, for you, the most memorable moment of her career?

Mike Cutter Might Have Been Right, but He was Also Cruel

Mike Cutter will go off the reservation to prove his theories and make his case. He's no holds barred, including apparently temporarily worsening someone's illness if it would afford him a strategic advantage.

Mike taunts a homicidal schizophrenic to trigger a psychotic break in front of Dr. Olivet to justify foricibly putting him on anti-psychotics, so that he would be lucid enough to testify in a murder trial.

It's just plain wrong (unethical), and there were other ways to achieve this end, perhaps not within the desired timeframe of the trial though.

Notwithstanding the fact that Dr. Olivet is a clinical psychologist without prescriptive authority, our skating serial killer does indeed take the stand and deliver the goods once medicated.

This moment is equal parts shocking as it is cruel and all in a days work for our prosecutors

SVU Showrunner Regarding Chris Meloni: 'I want to use him as much as I can'

Showrunner Michele Fazekas tells TVLine that she had plans to bring Chris Meloni's character back two other times during the season.

In both cases, she adds, Meloni's busy schedule made Stabler's return impossible.

"We had a scene in the crossover that he was not available for," she says. (Fans will recall that, just Episode 9 began — aka the "SVU" half of the "Law & Order" and "SVU" crossover event in January — Mariska Hargitay's Olivia Benson made a call to her former partner, alerting him to a possible hate group.)

In addition, "I thought about bringing him into the season finale," she says. "But I don't regret it, because the scene [in Episode 20] with Velasco and Benson was probably the scene that I would have done with Stabler and Benson" in the season-ender, she explains. "And I actually really liked that it was Velasco."

Anderson.Paak Dismisses Mariah Carey Dating Rumors

I'm Too Busy To Commit

The singer got grilled about his love life on "Club Shay Shay" ... admitting that after a failed marriage and turning 40, he still has no clue what he actually wants from a relationship.

As for those hand-holding pics with Mariah? Anderson basically brushed them off as nothing serious.

I guess that settles it. Handholding does not equal relationship 😂 Hopefully, it means they're making some more sweet music 🎶 🎶 together.

The Surprising A-Listers Who Got Their Break on ‘Law & Order’: “A Rite of Passage”

How the franchise has been turning "nobodies" — like Samuel L. Jackson, Clare Danes, Adam Driver and Timothée Chalamet — into A-list actors for 35 years.

Before Timothée Chalamet set foot on Arrakis, before Pedro Pascal started battling post-apocalyptic fungi, before Bradley Cooper, Viola Davis and Samuel L. Jackson became Bradley Cooper, Viola Davis and Samuel L. Jackson, they all underwent the same New York actor initiation: showing up on Law & Order to get murdered, accused of murder, arrested, raped, stabbed, stalked, strangled or — in John Stamos’ case — commit condom-related crimes too weird to get into here.

Since the franchise began shooting on the streets of New York in 1990, it has become more than a rite of passage for hungry young actors — it’s become the East Coast’s most reliable incubator of future stars. Michael B. Jordan, Kerry Washington, Claire Danes, Idris Elba, J.K. Simmons and Allison Janney, among scads of others, all got their start by getting interrogated by Jerry Orbach or Mariska Hargitay.
