B24J interior

Most of this will be hidden but the cockpit might be able to be seen at certain angles. Easily the most amount of time I’ve spent on one part of any model ever. Hobbyboss 1:48 B24J (being modified to an b24H so it’s my Grandfathers actual plane) I cheated a bit with a few photo etch parts, but most were to small for me to do anything with since I’m an old man. Tooth pick and a magnifier for parts of it.

Boomdakka Snazzwagon

Gave the floor boards a little more attention than they deserve. Made sure to have a Coke and a Pepsi can on the floor.

Surprise for the next tenant

Found out my apartment never hooked up my phone line to the wall jack and instead just left the wires loose in the wall. When we moved I left this in its place wired into the phone line.

Edit: I never expected this to blow up as it did and the sheer amount of upvotes and comments were a bit for me to handle.

To those that left me awards, thank you!! I’m not sure how they work but I wholeheartedly appreciate the Reddit credit.

I had put this in our wall a few years ago and moved last year. I recall seeing a video in my youth about how you could power a light in the event of a blackout via the phone line and when I discovered our jack wasn’t hooked up I set out to try to put the space to use. There is some old YouTube video out there that detailed the steps for doing this but I haven’t been successful in finding the specific video I recall watching. The light is always on and I had to put electrical tape on the inside of the jack plate so that no light would come out the port or along the edges. Apartment management hasn’t reached out regarding this so my assumption is this has yet to be discovered. They were jerks so I know they would have charged me for repairs if found.

Glad this made a lot of people smile and hope it inspired some to search out little unused cubbies within their life to fill with something that makes them happy.

First hidden paint attempt/submission

Working on the MG AMX-004 Qubeley, decided to try and paint the cockpit and pilot based on some Google references of the character. I don't really paint so this is pretty proud for me plus experimenting with mixing paints and a wet pallet!
