Your colonists need practice. Your prisoners could be used as vital target practice. Also make good opportunity for colony doctors for a medical practice target.

Living Training Targets adds melee and shooting training pillars that turn prisoners into unwilling training partners.

• Train Melee and Shooting while gaining recreation.
• Adjust training damage from 0–100% (default: 10%).
• Bound targets don’t bleed by default. (toggable)
• Toggable "Torture" recreation type
• Wardens and doctors provide care between training sessions.

For some added context a while back I had accepted a quest to recruit a highmate child which was... concerning but i wasn't going to worry about the implications of that since having a highmate in my colony could be useful. unfortunately due to his ideoligion he was constantly upset due to our lack of raids and us eating people, no problem i can just lock him up and convert him.

here's where thinks get really stupid. eventually due to the lack of raiding he had a mental break and DEFYING HIS VERY GENETICS decided he wanted to beat up the first person he saw. unfortunately for him that so happened to be my dirtmole prisoner who just punched him once and immediately killed him. BE FOR I COULD EVEN REACT my pawns were already hauling his corpse to be butchered for meat holy hell. in life he was a friend of my colonists in death he was a friend inside my colonists...

i dont have weapons at time, cuz i dint unlock any yet, its not even day 15 yet, i added a few mods to slow progression a bit too....

all of them have charge weapons and armor, i only have stone arrows

Context, 2 whites bred a dark skinned kid, using the ovum tech and kept inside a growth vat (check pics)

Additional context: neither of the parents have dark skin gene

This happened right before a caravan run- I was prioritizing stomachs for the Rest Rate (wish they modified nutrition, but I'm not hurting on food.)
