Has to be the most boring specimen. I really hope it gets reworked so it's more than perma run and dodge.

Whether extracting the data or killing him, as he seems very geared for groups. All the times, I’ve had him, it’s been with a group. But my friends never want to extract data. So how does one solo this guy as he is very quiet.

I find it immensely frustrating to navigate vents with 008.

Still quite new to the game. Had to get the black box from the Crew quarters, equipped with an upgraded threat map to help, but 008 just always camps around the vents and just doesn’t seem to ever go away long enough to actually make it through, even in easy difficulty this annoyed me too much and I just quit the contract.

Is there a pattern or a strategy when this situation happens?

For me its the damn terminator until you get his gatling gun but even then he is annoying with the grenades. Also the most terrifing one.

We will be allowing guests to take part in a livestreamed session this Saturday (between 7pm and 10pm EST) with a rotating roster of Consortium's members, including Qc Leviathan, GothicSammich, Super and the popular Darth "Pete" Revan.

Guests may be removed from the server after a month, as our server is primarily meant for our team members. If a long-term membership interests you, usually people we enjoy gaming and chatting with are invited to join one of Consortium's teams after a short period of getting to know them.

I need to farm credits, so I find extract missions the easiest at the moment given my experience and toolkit, while learning the map and it's requirements to bypass certain areas simultaneously.

I love everything about this game, except one thing.

THE AI KNOW YOUR LOCATIOIN AT ALL TIMES.

I just had to quit a contract because I was doing a normal difficulty blackbox run with the peacekeeper, and the box was in the crew quarters.

Okay fine, I need to gather some security passes 0/6 and then I can work on safely retrieving it.

NOPE.

I literally couldn't move through the map, to the point I was forced to hide in a corner for about 3 mins while listening to the enemy drones camping at my location (NOT PATROLLING), until a drone came to my exact spot multiple times until it eventually spotted me. I had to shoot it. Then the peacekeeper came over and camped outside the room for another min or so, not leaving like usual, then another drone, then he came in and basically blocked me in the dead end. Cool.

I respawn, and then go in a completely different direction, no drones, okay, they'll probably be a few running a basic route shortly which I can time my movements. NOPE. 3-4 drones coming and camping once again in my location, never leaving and the same thing happened again.

Then the peacekeeper, not even searching or walking a basic route, just stomps over, enters the exact room I happen to be in, I was behind boxes not visible to it, then just stomps over and then pauses doing nothing, obviously the script broke.

So I was forced to just quit, because what should have been a fairly simple run, became impossible due to diabolically poor scripting/development.

If I can't even move around for more than 20 seconds without the AI basically camping on me and preventing me from moving around, let alone completing an objective, then how am I supposed to run solo missions?

I hope this was a one off and something broke temporarily because other runs have been fine, with the specimens actually patrolling and stalking, and searching until veering off into another direction after being unable to find me.

But god damn, the whole "I'm gunna wallhack you, camp on your location and prevent you from doing anything but sitting in a corner behind some boxes for eternity" needs rectifying, it breaks immersion and feels completely unrealistic.

I hope the devs see this, and implement phases;

Default: Patrol
Have the AI patrol random routes, carrying out basic detection scripts.

Triggered Behaviour: Detection
If the specimen detects sound, or briefly spots you, have it search the small proximity of your last known location should you break LOS until giving up and returning to Default: Patrol.

Triggered Behaviour: Distraction
If the specimen is patrolling or currently searching for you after detection, be able to throw a canister or something lighter (for a slightly further throw) in a direction you'd like the creature to search, to enable you a chance to crouch and sneak past it while it is facing away.

Just dropping my slowly growing discord server for regular players to help with better LFG experiences.

I also want to add to the server a somewhat widget or tool to display different timezones, not sure if this is possible as I'm learning to be an admin on the go, this is my first server.
