Species Difficulty Tierlist

What do you guys think the easiest and hardest Specimens are? After playing for 30 hours and doing them all on tier 4 difficulty, my thoughts are this:

  1. 007 "Ghost": By far the easiest in the game. The only thing difficult about it is when you need to kill it on Tier 4 it takes forever to drop. Otherwise seeing it be the enemy just means it's walking simulator for the rest of the game. Even its capture can be done without ever even opening a zone door. With tier 3 armor, you can literally get a blue canister, throw it down, stand on it, wait until he comes into the cell with you, shoot it, and press the button. 3-5 minute mission easy as that.
  2. 005 "Peacemaker": Its drones are really just annoyances, but otherwise, it's really simple to deal with. Also one of if not the only one that doesn't really "know" where you are until it or its drones sees you personally. The hardest thing about it is its capture, because it by far takes the most damage per phase to stun.
  3. 006 "The Octopus": I think squiddy boy has a really high learning curve compared to anything else, but once you do learn that, he's really REALLY easy to deal with. Get a revolver, shotgun, and 3 red canisters and you can completely skip needing the flamethrower at all. That being said, I feel like the game is just straight up lying that he's just curious early on. I distinctly remember my first experience with him being a tier 2 difficulty mission and him just one shotting me in a corner the moment he saw me.
  4. 009 "Mike": He's definitely the most balanced middle ground in the game. He can't be scared off as easily as the others, but you can if you're persistent. He can be outran. He punishes you for not being situationally aware but is easy to avoid. Once again, the capture is the hardest thing, and that's less because HE is hard to deal with and more because the Lightning Gun just sucks.
  5. 008 "The Eye": Orbby is probably the hardest to deal with early on. You can't scare it away unless you really annoy it by making it back up long enough (which you can't do in general solo). In tier 4 difficulty, it's fast enough to keep up with you and cause you to run out of stamina. It has a consistent 1 shot it can use at any point, including in vents. It can glitch out and turn its one advantage of being docile off on tier 3 and 4 difficulty. It can even turn off power in its boss fight.
  6. 010 "The Puppet Master": Let me be clear; he is BY FAR the easiest one to kill in a 1v1. What makes him so difficult is the zombies. You are constantly getting caught off guard in doorways, having to reload, wasting ammo, and being camped. On lower difficulties you can quickly shoot into the vents he's in to scare him but on higher ones he just stings you if you try, and most of the ammo crates are conveniently placed in rooms with one vent at the only doorway in, so you just get trapped there for 2 minutes. There's also so many corpses he can pull from at any given point that its impossible to make him come down without having to hit the ammo crate at least 3 times. Also just so happens to be the only one in the game that can attack you (via zombies) before you even reach the command deck outside of the Power On modifier.
  7. Tier 4 Turrets: Tier 4 turrets without the revolver maxed out is hell on earth. Genuinely never pick tier 4 turrets without a max revolver. Even WITH the revolver, if you don't clear out a whole area to fight the boss beforehand, they just randomly screw you over. Half the time they don't even come down when you expect them and wait until later when you least expect it.

Why the Hype for this Game Died Out

Allow me to give you a timeline of the game so far:

  • 2022 - MiSide starts development
  • Aug. 2023 - Demo Release
  • Oct. 2023 - Halloween Event
  • Dec. 2023 - Christmas Event
  • Oct. 2024 - rehash of Halloween Event with release date reveal
  • Dec. 2024 - Release + Christmas rehash
  • Valentine's 2025 - Nothing
  • Mita's B-Day 2025 - Nothing
  • Halloween 2025 - Nothing new
  • Christmas 2025 - Nothing new
  • Valentine's 2026 - Nothing
  • Mita's B-Day 2026 - Not even a discord announcement

It's been almost 2 years since release and we've gotten genuinely nothing to keep the hype they generated with launch. The modding scene is gone. This community is bare bones. Everything "new" about the IP has been people sinking money into their boosty and 20 different merch drops. We don't even have the global release of the manga yet, its Russian exclusive. Even both of the fan games are stuck in development limbo.

It's genuinely so frustrating to see a game that had the potential to be the next DDLC in terms of anime game titans get reduced to a "where's peaceful mode???" generator and merch printer. I fear that if they don't deliver anything short of a "MiSide 2" sized update with this peaceful mode release that is taking them longer than the base game did at this point, this dev team is going to get dropped before the "GeoWarp" universe even gets a chance.

The level of detail Larp channels are going is insane

This is "Larping the Rooms" by The Larping Tombstone, a larp channel dedicated to The Living Tombstone. Bro genuinely tuned his own Miku to high quality levels for the meme and even got someone to animate peak to match it

What do I technically have?

So I sorta always assumed my eyes are grey and after this photo where I finally got them being actually grey instead of bright blue or dark teal I'm convinced, but I'm moreso curious about if there's anything to call the weird fleck of color in them. In fact when I was really young I remember that ring around the pupil being exactly that color, so I'm not even sure why it receded into being just a streak above the pupil

[PC][2000-2012]Military Shooter with level where you survive missile attack in a tank

I'm looking for an early 2000s shooter I played on my laptop when I was a kid. I search for this game almost every 4 years to no avail. The single only thing I can remember from it is a level that starts off with what I think is a news reporter dropping their camera as a missile (nuclear I think but can't remember) strikes nearby, and the early level is almost entirely you in a tank.

I was like no more than 10 at the time so the details are sorta hazy, I can't confirm if it was first or third person on foot.
