Anyone know if a guest user can get a Xumo box and use it?
I have spectrum internet, and my mom has spectrum tv.
I use the app on my old Xbox but doesn't work ps5. Wondering if Xumo works for strictly guests
Thanks!! 🎉
Can I expect any difference in the service? Any advice on how to get the best deal when I switch? Should I wait for the new iPhones to come out? Also I am Spectrum Internet customer. Does Spectrum offer savings over another MVNO like Visible?
Does anyone know when they will start sending out the Google Pixel phones, I was told by agent they have them in the warehouse, I got my Samsung z fold 8, 2 days after placing the order, and it was still in preorder. I place my order for the Pixel 11 on Friday and haven't heard anything.
Anyone had a recommendation on which service to use to protect my phone?
I'm trying to buy a phone with a trade-in from Spectrum Mobile and was wondering whether paying it off early will cancel the remaining promo credit, as T-Mobile does.
Hi, I recently (a year ago) got new internet, with the free one-year line mobile service. I was wondering if I cancel the mobile service, will it impact how much I pay for internet?
edit: thank you!
I JUST switched to Spectrum. I’ve gotten the new phone set up- at least I think I have. I sent a text message and received a message send failure- not delivered. I haven’t seen that since my says of using Sprint! I’m not of an age where technology just rolls off my fingertips- is there a setting somewhere I should double check? Is this a Spectrum issue?
Any help is appreciated.
How long did it take for your order to arrive? Or are you still waiting?
Does anyone know what QCI level Unlimited Plus Premium has?
I was at a concert last night at a venue with about 8000 people. Been on Unlimited Plus Premium for about a month.
Regularly throughout the night I had a decent LTE signal but no data as it was apparently too congested.
Is this a Spectrum thing? If I had the top tier Verizon plan would it have been any different?
I'll be driving from Texas to Florida in about a month and I was wondering if anyone has done the same? I live in Texas and sometimes when I'm just driving around Texas I lose signal so I'm kind of scared of losing signal over there especially since I've never been to Florida.
I just upgraded 2 phones and traded in 2 old ones. Can I take my traded phones to the local spectrum store rather than shipping?
Thanks
Is there a correct way to add the free watch line? I tried adding my watch as a new line and it is asking me for $10 monthly fee plus a $20 activation fee.
So I generally trust UPS more than USPS for tracking and delivery.
But the whole “scan the QR code and UPS will package and ship” thing makes me nervous. What happens if they damage it or forget etc?
USPS I can pack it myself. But then it goes USPS.
Which do folks recommend?
Is it possible for Spectrum Mobile switch over my 4 business lines over to T-Mobile instead of Verizon cell towers since they now have a contract with T-Mobile available to use their cell towers for Spectrum business customers? Or will it switch over eventually?
Hello all. I want to upgrade our iphones (11 and 12 base models). I was wondering what option may be better.
Our original plan was to get the 17e bc thats the most affordable option I wanted the 17 pro max bc i love the large screen. But was also thinking the 16 plus bc its cheaper and has a large screen. But im also thinking of the 17 base model bc its right in between.
I did talk to a spectrum worker and they told me we qualify for 12 months free service (second line would be 30/mo)
My husband just needs a new phone in general, he doesnt care which one. I personally like to play mobile games and love taking pictures. We also want to upgrade to have more storage.
Sorry for this being so long. If you made it this far, thanks for reading! 🤎
Hi, I need advice for the buyout promotion.
We just moved from Verizon a few days ago. We were told we could bring both of our phones and numbers with us. Once we got to the spectrum store, the told us we could only bring the iPhone over, not the 4month old galaxy, so we had to buy a new phone for one of the lines (the told us they couldn’t unlock it). Spectrum did a trade in for the android so the new phone is only about $10/month and we just had to pay tax.
I got a message while still in the spectrum store that a mobile line ending in xxxx (a new number) is now active and then another that a mobile line ending in my last 4 is now active. I was told it was part of the process but we would keep the numbers.
After hours in the store, the next day my family member with the new android texted me and I saw it was from a different number. After calling spectrum, they said something was messed up in the set up and they were able to fix it to the original number. I had to chat with spectrum tonight to ask a question and asked about the buyback. It turns out, we’re no longer eligible for the buyback. In their system, it looks like we cancelled the contract because the number was changed (we never requested that number). If you change the port out number it voids the buyback. However, we never requested that. The agent I was chatting with over their app said they spoke with a leader and filed a claim for me. After reading on here tonight, I’m not feeling great about my chances. I don’t have an extra $600 to pay Verizon for the phones at the moment because we just spent $200 paying the first spectrum bill and taxes on the new phone. (They said we would get up to $500 per line, since we have 2 lines, we would get $500 for one line and the rest would be covered by my up to $500 since I only owe a few dollars on my phone)
Is there anything else I should be doing?
Hey everyone,
I have a Canadian TELUS mobile line on the iPhone 17 Pro (purchased in Canada) and would like to add a US Spectrum Mobile line too as part of the dual sim feature. The device is unlocked and the Spectrum line is an eSim line on a 13 mini. It does not allow me to add eSim onto the new phone in the normal manner. I have contacted Spectrum regarding this on several different occasions, however, they have been unable to complete the process, stating that the 17 Pro, after inputting the IMEI, is only compatible with a physical sim. The 17 Pro is eSim only and so it appears to be a Spectrum specific issue. Does anyone have any experience with this?
Thank you.
Yall I’ve been having problems with spectrum. The WiFi never works it’s super weak. Any recommendations? I literally just upgraded to a new router too. Thinking of switching back to Verizon
Frontier just upped their prices... So I'm looking for options.
