I Needed Storage. And a Display. And a Workspace...

So, I built my first MOC. Initially I wanted to build a small garage based on some of the YT/Instagram garages I found. But I prefer modding cars over box stock builds, so I started looking at tuning shops and stumbled across a tour of Liberty Walk's shop...

I kept the garage, but added a show room, a parts shop, an R and D lab, some storage, and a merch shop. Then I added a parking lot and some landscaping. :) I think it'd be cool to add in some lighting and some Lego-themed "tuner" branded stuff, but that's in the future. This has been a whole bunch of weekends...

My favorite thing about it, though, is that it's completely modular. I can add and remove sections as needed, which makes the whole thing infinitely less cumbersome.

Photo dump incoming...

Dodge demon 170 MOC(?)

Kind of surprised I’ve yet to see this creation happen. This is just set 77237 in yellow with some parts from set 75893 (with some modifications) but I couldn’t find part 6561722 in bright yellow so I’ll have to find a different way to design it in that bright yellow colour, kinda just threw this together and will be modifying it at a later date but I’d like everyone’s opinions. (Sorry for the messy background I’m gonna put some more shelves up later this week I have like 8 speed champions I need to display properly)

Number of pieces per car (double packs)?

Hi everyone,

I am looking for a piece count list for each separate model from the 8-stud era. Obviously, the piece count for single car sets can be found out rather easily, but there are 12 double packs (with number 13 coming out in August this year), and for those I could only find the total piece count for the whole sets.

I'm specifically looking for the piece counts of the individual cars, excluding the pieces for the minifigures and not counting replacement parts / extra parts (including additional wheel caps) / parts for side builds.

Has anyone here ever compiled such a list or is aware of a source and would be willing to share it?

Thanks in advance!

Since LEGO has been doing a lot of Tribute sets lately, I'd like to start a petition to get Richard Petty's famous cars in brick-form!! 🩵

"General Lee" - '69 Dodge Charger

Modified this off TheBoostedBrick's design, and it looks awesome! Doors, hood, and trunk can be opened. I wish Lego would come out with a set like this.

Can something be done about u/Bringbackjawsb2tf

Sorry for the random post, but this dude just left quite possibly the most disgusting comment I have ever read under a LEGO post, and then immediately deleted his comment and blocked me after I called him out. The last thing he said was "Lol trolling is fun" and went MIA. Any way this guy could get banned, and quickly? 😂 This is a LEGO community here for talking about cars, not spreading lies about multiple people and disrespecting the dead. ✌️

Reversed Hoonicorn

I haven't seen anybody doing it so far so why not, just quickly swapped out the mudguards and increased the height. Might worth a more serious effort to do it properly.
