This model is made using parts from combining 2 of the lego 42113 Ford Bronco sets. There are a few compromises at this size; the front axles have a simple center pivot suspension rather than the 4-bar of the real truck. A steering wheel on top turns the front 4 wheels and the independent rear axles drive a fake V10 (V12 did not fit!).
Final model in this Bronco alt series for a while, this one of an American dually style pickup + gooseneck trailer. This was the most challenging to date using well over 80% of the pieces from the 2 sets. Fake 2x4 drivetrain, steering from inside the cab and full suspension (even the trailer).
Another alt build of the 2 Ford Bronco sets, this one based off of the soviet MAZ-537. Unfortunately I could not make an 8x8 drivetrain (instead only 4x8) but the MOC still retains full suspension and HOG steering.
This is a sequel to an alt build I made a year ago, combining 2 of the 42213 Ford Bronco sets. This MOC is designed as an Australian cab-over style truck featuring a bull bar, working suspension, fake 4x6 drivetrain and HOG steering.
Custom made routes seem to render differently to set routes in the map editor which is annoying for creating mementos of hikes I've done. Any fixes or alternate recommendations for making these types of trail posters?
Im trying to tap into the highbeam to add a light bar. The loom that came with the lights has a HB3 connector but my headlights have the 8-way style connector. Whats the best way to do this? Is there a HB3 in the headlight housing? Can I wire it into 2 of the 8-way wires? Or should i look for a different adaptor?
