so happy with this repot!
my new truncata in its new fancy pot!!! so pleased with this and hopefully will see it flower soon :-)
i thought about potting it deeper so that it is more true to a wild plant, but i think i’ll just let it recede on its own as it dries out

Astrophytum myriostigma with some Lake Superior jaspers and legume plant fossil.
A bit fanciful. More like the cactus has horded a little treasure.

I have a question about clay top dressing
I know that there is a type of clay and a technique to get that cracked earth look, I just don’t know what they are.
If someone could let me know I’d be very appreciative. TIA.
