Finally stopped procrastinating and made my first page!!
I had my little pokemon tin with a bunch of stamps, but I was procrastinating so much, first I was like once I get my cute notebook I got it and nothing I just scrolled my free time away everyday. But today was the day! I light up a nice candle and sit on my desk and started this beautiful hobby! It’s such a stress reliever omg!
I put some washi tape bc I didn’t get the spacing right at the first time, and instead of getting mad bc perfectionist I bedazzled a little my page.
What do you think of my first page??? ❤️
Greetings from Austria
I'm from Austria, and I couldn't help but chuckle every time I saw the same stamp machine over and over again while browsing your posts.
Here's how I do it: I keep a collection for a month. I'm never allowed to stamp the same paper twice from the same material (which makes searching a bit more difficult), and at the end of the month, I write a short summary.
March in bloom 🐦🌸
I wanted to fill each day in monthly spread with tiny drawing. I'm going though a breakup and I don't have energy to do anything meaningful not to mention pushing myself to draw regularly... But making those little stamps and arranging them relaxed me a lot. When I will look back, I won't see empty pages - instead I will see that beauty can be found even when everything falls apart
Two new hobbies
First stab combining my two new hobbies—stamp journaling and security envelopes
A few spreads
Just started two weeks ago! I live in Japan and there is truly an abundance of “punchable” everyday materials such as pamphlets and food packaging!
I tried to punch mostly patterns or images without too many words to keep them more abstract.
I use a dotted notebook so the grid is not as obvious.
