1 Click removal please

Devs I would like to have the option to remove building with 1 click, yes I understand the current hold 3 sec method is to prevent accidental deletion, but I think after 200 hrs I know enough of what I'm doing I no longer need this guard rail, please have the option for 1 click removal, the current method is such a waste of time when you are trying to do large scale deconstruction and it's testing my patience, if anyone knows any mods or console command that can do the same thing feel free to share, thanks!

Regular Storage vs Storage v2

What is the general preference on type of storage - is there a reason of choosing one over the other?

Storage v1: 400 storage capacity and adds +5 heat to base core

Storage v2: 1,600 storage capacity and adds +40 heat to the base core

4 storage v1 will give the same storage (400 x 4 = 1,600) and only add +20 heat to the base core, isn't that better than 1 v2 storage?

Though, 4 v1 storage means more real estate space ...

Attacked thru ceiling

So I went to one of the derelict bases that is covered in infection, Mytic Cry the map named it. I was making progress clearing it out until I went into the basement area. Above was clear of enemies when I entered and I had cleared the basement. Was searching for loot and eggs to pop when I started taking damage. Looked and saw no enemies, no radiation warning etc. I started to exit the basement and that’s when I realized that the bugs were outside above me and hitting me thru the ceiling. Is this a known issue or should i report it?

Yes they liked me, I went back after the next rupture to stomp all their eggs.

Base just completely stopped producing?

I was doing some reconfiguration to improve efficiency, and when I got everything back up and the blocked drones removed, everything ran smoothly until the existing drones in-process just ran their course. Then nothing, the entire base stopped producing.

For the obvious checks: power is fine, no core heat issues, (eta:) there is active demand in orbital senders and unfilled storage, no infections or anything weird going on. Everything looks happy. I traced a few products and their lines back to raw materials, and everything is connected properly.

As far as checking for known bugs, I deleted and reconnected a few random rails, and saved and reloaded a couple of times, no dice.

Any suggestions? Poke it with a stick?

Oh god what have I done

It was all going good until it wasn't going good anymore and now I feel gridlocked. It's either find a fix for the bottlenecks and space constraints or quit. Any ideas? Reworking anything takes ages and tons of time relinking. If I was to redo the entire thing I would have to figure out what component goes into what goes into what and I'd probably make a mess again. I went down a bit and created a storage hub and was considering sending lines down with every material there but that doesn't really fix the bottleneck and storage problem. Unless I do that, set up cargo dispatchers, and just leave. What's the play here?

(Edit: see picture posted below, I wrote down all the machines I had building what, set up a main platform, and I'm going to streamline this)

Still Got Green Clouds After Doing Engine?

We've been out adventuring and even though we did the forgotten engine a while back now, there's still some areas of the map that have green clouds around them. We found a super cool looking big base in the south east but are unable to get to it because of said clouds. Any advice?

I just spent a lot of today making a Sulfuric acid base

The chemicals to make sulphuric acid were taking WAAAAAY too long to craft, so I made an entire base dedicated to it. Took all day. Wondering if there are other primary resources I'll need to make entire bases for.

Since the flow is all one direction, I was able to use dedicated lanes for each product.

Satisfying to finally have more of this stuff than I am using.

I played for 36 hours before I realised you could vary the height of the rail posts.

So much wasted time varying the height of platforms...

Controller Support

Dear Devs,

Can you please fast track controller support for this awesomely wonderful game...

Pretty please 🙏

I'm having so much fun playing the game and so sad that I cannot play it whilst traveling due to no controller support. When at home, I play it by docking my Ally X and attaching a KBM, but do not have that luxury while on business travel.

PS: I am in no way a game dev myself so I have no clue how difficult or easy this is.. !!!

14th May 2026 - Hotfix revoked from Steam [information]

Due to an unexpected error with today's update, we've had to revoke it from Steam and bring back the previous build.

If you've already made a new save on the revoked build, please don't load it until we bring the improved update on Steam.

We're working as quickly as possible to bring back the proper update. We're sorry for the issue.

Dash not working

I have 10 hours on this game but today is my first time playing the game since “update 1”, and for some reason my dash isn’t working whatsoever. I tried restarting my game, and rebinding dash to different keys to see if that might be the issue but no luck. Anyone else have this problem?

Locked saved file

What about the ability to lock one or more of the save spaces of a session to make it so you can't overwrite it? I use every space in my session but sometimes i like to keep a particular spot saved in case i decide i want to roll back to a certain point. Like before i do the world engine. I usually remember to click on the second or third file in to overwrite so the one in the first position is much older than the rest. But this time i forgot and saved over it. If we could lock them out so that they cannot be overwritten, i would love that. Of course not a permanent lock. Just curious if anyone else would like a feature like that

Looking for motivation and purpose.

After +103 hours playing I've hit a wall and feel the rinse and repeat manufacturing a bit tiresome with out a purpose and/or goal. I understan 'Early Access' any I am patiently waiting. I began playing after the last major update. I finished Satisfactory and started Star Rupture. I have dozens of core bases, several plants making about ~65% of all products, have a single core base upgraded to lvl 4 with 24 gun turrets to deal with the spawns.

But without a finish line, I'm lacking motivation. (I am intrigued about the structures the the northwest and southeast, in the radiation zones...)I've paused and restarted Dyson Sphere Project. That game has a end goal: Build many manufacture bases and eventually build a Dyson Sphere. Then continue around your star cluster, making more.

I'm just looking for the same motivation but it alludes me.

Can anyone else relate?

Clever overlapping cores

If you have cores that overlap, any production machine in that overlap adds it's full heat to BOTH cores. So I got to thinking, how about core amplifiers cooling?

Yup. Works great. I set up 4 cores with an overlapping area in the middle where I put a big stack of amplifiers/coolers. They work for all 4 cores. Also gives me a huge area to build.

My factory floors

https://preview.redd.it/d6gqcilbte0h1.jpg?width=3440&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b2e710ce473a37f0bcd9bc9e28c157014b070f20

This is how close each factory floor is to each other, yet they are each only adding to the heat of a single base core. No core comes close to hitting the heat cap. Each floor is serviced by a dual lane road system with no intersections only on/off ramps. They are designed to take 10 industrial buildings each, up to the 7x7 compressor.

Upgrade idea for the Building Drone: Auto Forager-gatherer

What if you could upgrade your Building Drone to quickly and automatically gather all the gatherables (fruit / plants, grubblers, vulpir eggs if their nests are open, biofacts) in a radius around you on command? This could be a handy nice feature to have.

The drone wouldn't gather anything that requires the mining tool, nor go into caverns or loot containers (like dead bodies), but it would speed up plant and bug drop gathering for sure.

Stacking Rails

Is it still a thing? I see posts from a few months ago and cannot seem to replicate it. I may be overlooking something simple. Are there any youtube videos of a how-to out there? I tried looking but couldnt find any
