Hi everyone!! Doing my first SVE playthrough and having a great time. I've been scouring the sub for tips on Crimson Badlands as my runs have been.... challenging (I did not realize how much money I was losing each time I died lol). Taking a break while I save up for a tempered galaxy sword 🫡 and figuring out potion/food buff combos.

Wondering what trinkets you find best for the badlands! I usually use the parrot egg in vanilla but will take any advantage I can get here. Thoughts on fairy box vs things like ice rod/magic quiver/frog egg?

Any other tips are of course welcome if you have them :) thanks y'all

Okay so I have only recently been absolutely and sickeningly obsessed with stardew and quickly fell down the mod hole and I’m on summer 26 year three- I have RSV & SB & ES yada yada, so many townies, so many things, I AM PURELY HAVING A BLAST! (Open to recs also hehe)

All of that said… EVELYN IS THE NEEDIEST (and loveliest) LADY I HAVE MET IN THIS GAME, OUT OF FOUR TOWNS’ TOWNIES, SHE IS BY FAR THE ONE TOWNIE I END UP RUNNING AROUND FOR !!
Also… I thought this would settle after becoming absolute besties (literally she’s my adopted nana) BUT NO! I think it’s actually just become more as we got closer😂😂😂

Hey guys. I’ve just finally bought myself a pc and I’ve been so excited to play stardew valley expanded.

I really want to get into using mods and all that but I’m absolutely clueless and this is new territory.

First of all- how do I get the expanded version?
Second of all- what’s the safest place to download mods from ?

Any other advice or recommendations I would really appreciate!

Yeah, so I found out what happens when I have 100 million in the bank. The counter goes to ZERO and starts over! Oh well. Easy come, easy go.

So I’m playing Stardew Valley Very Expanded and I’m getting to the point of repairing grandpas shed and basically what I’m looking for is a mod to add auto sprinklers to the greenhouse area so I don’t have to use sprinklers in there

I’m using a mod that’s similar to what I want, just for the greenhouse, but I can’t find any for Grandpas Shed

If anyone knows of anything I’d appreciate it!

It said in the description of the mod that there were three new farm layouts to start with. I can’t find them anywhere. Do I have to download another mod separately or am I not seeing something

Helloo so I've been keeping an eye on my barn full of pigs (all 3+ hearts, 5 at full hearts) in Grampleton Fields and they don't seem to be finding truffles like they should.

I do not visit daily, as I have the mod to open/close barn and coop doors. Any time I visit, there is one truffles right at the barn door and no more. If I visit during the day I watch my pigs pour out of the barn and they will then find truffles for that day, if I leave and come back at night. Any other circumstances they only find the one truffle.

Does anyone else experience this? Makes me sad since I spent all the time and resources to get my boys there.

As a sidenote, it kinda feels like my pigs on my regular farm aren't finding as many truffles as they do on my vanilla farms but maybe I'm just overthinking..

Also, if anyone has any suggestions for what else to use the fields for they are more than welcome! Thanks :)

I'm playing the Mega Expanded collection (https://www.nexusmods.com/games/stardewvalley/collections/g3i395) and have a quest I cannot figure out. I've scoured the internet, looked through the mod list to see where this could be coming from - can't find anything anywhere. I've tried giving Magnus/wizard the Sunberry mine "orbs" (basically geodes), that didn't work. Not slime hearts, life essense or slime soul. Don't remember any special items coming from a big slime. Anyone know or have other ideas??? I've never posted to reddit so please let me know if you need more info. Thanks in advance!!!

I've sworn by SVE ever since I first downloaded it, mostly because of how helpful the additions are, but also how "vanilla" and true to the game everything looks.

After checking out East Scarp and other similar mods, they're beautiful I promise, but just not as "canon" as SVE feels to me.

and since I've been playing with SVE for quite a long time now, it's practically the vanilla for me, and I've been wanting some other expansions that give the same feel.

Any suggestions?

I was wondering if there is any way to get the wallpaper from Victor's room for the farmhouse, if it is part of some other catalouge or has to be bought on its own?
